Haha, I subscribed to RM30 5GB because I topup RM30 for the 30 days validity. If every month topup RM30 but use only RM10, then probably in 1-2 years time I end up with alot of balance and burn if I port to other telco.

Really? Last year I went to a rural kampong in Johor. Their line was HSDPA, my dad's Maxis is only Edge. This year still the same for Maxis but on my side is 4G. I load Youtube 1080p where else my dad's phone can barely load a webpage.

unlikely, it could the quota is not updated.

postpaid quota update is slower than prepaid.

but it is also strange if it is not updated till so long. maybe their system is having some issues.

if specific area, especially, the coverage and speed are subjective. it is not fair to said maxis is not good due to this instance. eventually one should be concern the speed in common area that he will be in most of the time.

if the specific area is proved to be good for a specific telco, then one should just go for it then if one is really will be active in that specific location.

yes, it is subjective. just one area doesn't means all. but most important is for Celcom, they do care about giving the best coverage.

anyway, I'm not too sure about the timeline but I remember Digi and Umobile has given more data before Celcom change the game forcing Maxis to comply and the ceo to apologize. all that huuhaa about data only last year change right?

in just barely over a year, I'm still paying the same price but my usage on mobile change. i mean from just having enough data (1gb) to check my messages to have 5gb to do stuff on mobile and to tether and finally to streaming on spotify and watching video on mobile data without fear...

Celcom in terms of coverage will have no prob. Same goes to Maxis. In terms of speed, this two will have no issue also but maxis is more superior in this department for sure.

The one that I avoid are only DiGi and u mobile.

U are using the xpax now? What monthly internet pass are using!

I am not using xpax. I'm on first gold.

Celcom silently upgraded me to 10GB around Oct of last year and 4 months later sms me for another RM10 to tap on the 10GB weekend data for a total of 20GB anyday . I was like wtf? Have been enjoying my 20GB data ever since. For the next 2-3 months if my data usage keeps up I might as well go for gold plus+10 for 40GB anytime data.

Which is why I love Celcom. If it had been Maxis I'll probably still be on 5GB data as per my original plan, forever in the dark...

Maxis actually also up the data quota also 10gb weekday and 10gb weekday. Just price wise is rm98.

Celcom just announce EasyPhone plan installment with the Galaxy S8 today. Wonder newphone plan will have Galaxy S8 or not also

anyone from bukit puchong?
line really bad since yesterday evening.
4G gone. hardly H+ most of the time on 3G only.
unable to surf internet. not even run a speedtest

last night make a to to their helpline, just come to realize there are charges calling their helpline with the same telco. they say some maintenance from 12am to 6am but the true is the line gone bad before 12am.

call again just now they say will check and get me back in 24Hr.
anyone facing the same issue?

4G,3G, whatever G (including string) down for my phone in Bukit Jalil. Just realised it 20 minutes ago.
