1. Since you are on Xlite plan, then https://www.xpax.com.my/internet-1 is applicable to you except for Free Minutes and Free Burung Hantu.

2. The newer internet plans on xpax website is intended only for xpax Turbo.

3. Bear in mind that old xpax plans pay-per-use data is at 50sen/50KB

4. All internet plans are auto renewed. To stop auto renewal, send STOP to 28882 (this only stops auto renewal, internet plan is still valid).

5. If you use seldom use data and/or use very little data at a time (ie. less than 10MB per session), an alternative would be to use data packs. For example:

- CHAT pack : RM5 gets you 50MB with no time limit.
- SOCIAL pack : RM10 gets you 150MB data with no time limit.
- The data remains valid as long as your account is valid (or until you finish using it).
- To subscribe, look in *118# or send CHAT / SOCIAL to 28882

6. The call rates are quite steep for Xlite but it is offset by 8pax and monthly bonus.

7. Xlite is able to subscribe to 1 year / 2 years extended validity. Send EXP1 or EXP2 to 28882 to subscribe.
May the force be with you ...

As for those still on old xpax, just take SOCIAL pack as buffer if your monthly / weekly data pack expires and cannot auto renew (not enough balance) whistling.gif

And that 2 years validity thumbup.gif Keep it if you 'love' your number but rarely use it. No longer exist for new prepaid. sad.gif

Sadly, the new Xpax Turbo is not attractive at all... Xpax's 2 years validity is the most attractive before... but now ? hmm...

hey guys, my friend said that celcom got a new plan.. first gold but 20GB... but I do a research about celcom and all i get is negative feedback about it.. because most of them said that celcom got poor coverage.. so, I don't think that celcom is the best one rite?

Celcom? Poor coverage?

I think depends on area. North malaysia so far the best interm of coverage.

Stability still maxis better.

I'm actually using very less. I just want to check the stock price. So those CHAT pack is not applicable to my usage.
What is 8pax? Actually is it worth to upgrade to Turbo? the call rate will be cheaper?
..........

1. Those CHAT packs are not only meant for chatting/messaging. It can be used for browsing too and of course stock price checking. The beauty of these data packs is that you can stack them and has no time limit. For example:

a. NET5 at RM5 gets you 300MB quota for 1 day. Any balance quota will be forfeited after 1 day is up.
b. SOCIAL at RM10 gets you 150MB quota with no time limit. Assuming you only use 5MB a day for stock price checking, the 150MB quota can last you for 30 days (or more if you use less data).
c. Yes, you can also stack data (add more) by subscribing to more data packs
d. The data packs also protects you from accidental pay-per-use usage.
e. When subscribing to normal internet plan, the data pack becomes 2nd tier (backup).
f. The data counter is still 10KB blocks. This helps stretching usage over time.

2. 8pax is discounted call rates to 8 celcom/TM fixed numbers. Something like friends-n-family rates. There is also the monthly free sms to 8pax (which could be between 55 to 105 depending on how the system calculates your tenure).

3. Upgrading to xpax turbo makes sense if :

a. you still want celcom coverage now
b. you want cheaper call rates at 24sen/minute (60 seconds block) and 12sen/sms
c. get free basic internet (64kbps) 500MB quota monthly
d. you want to experience xpax turbo internet plans.
e. makes regular RM30++ topup monthly

Bear in mind older features and add-ons such as SOCIAL packs, older internet plans, extended validity, etc will no longer be available to xpax turbo.

Another way to approach this is by getting a new xpax turbo sim to try out for awhile to see if you like the plan (and if yes, then migrate your current number to xpax turbo).

May the force be with me .....

The stability is fine, so far I'm still satisfied on it as I didnt encounter any coverage issue.
