I am using redONE for about almost 2 years now, since it is using Celcom network, I am having no problem with coverage wise. But since my area Celcom 4G coverage is just still too limited + and for this redONE I will get 4G if I am subscribe to 3GB internet package. I am thinking to use Hotlink for my 2nd sim as mobile internet provider.

very true, I am using it to make calls to my daughter who is still studying in JB. For that free calls, this is really a plus.

Where is your location? I am not able to wait any longer, no Celcom 4G means no redONE 4G. Unsubscribe the monthly data and keep it only for voice and sms. Bought a Hotlink card and found that 4G coverage and speed is superb for my area, Kuala Sungai Baru, Masjid Tanah, Alor Gajah and bandar Melaka.

haiya... data is data la, paid for full amount of data and there are segregation of 4g, 3g and 64kbps. Make it simple 4g and 3g is during the active quota and 64kbps is when quota finished, habis cerita.

Having some odd bill payment between m2u and redone recently, and I was trying to reach the CS via FB messenger ( the previous time was ok, but not now). whatsapp 01110662868 is forever unread, call the hotline no body pick up, but managed to reached the via online chat but after 20mins of waiting.

Before that, paid the amount of rm30 via m2u jompay, successful with all the reference transaction printed, checked with CS, no payment received at their side. Wait 24hrs, 48hrs, 3rd day.. still the same. They told me, bank's receipt is not a proved of payment until it appear in their (redone) system. Contacted the bank, as been stated in the transaction was successful, meaning the money already sent to the biller, so recurring is not possible. Now I don't know where the rm30 gone to.

24hrs later I made a payment again at rm17.00, this time is using the FPX system via redONE's self care login, using m2u and the transaction stated successful with reference no. An hour later received an email from FPX that the transfer was unsuccessful due to time out in their system. Login to m2u to check the transaction, rm17 deducted. Chat again with redone CS and have to wait 21 more queries in front. Took too long until I have to disconnect the chat.

Now I don't know where my rm47 gone to now, this is the 1st time I hear bank's receipt of successful bill payment cannot be treat as a proof of payment. I have to review my again my subscription with redONE after more than 2 years with them.

no longer in contract as I am already with them about 2yrs+, this morning I am had a long chat with their CS, and they try to put that issue on banking system. I am telling them if that was a bank problem, my TM bill also might be in dispute as I am also made several payments in the same login, but TM acknowledged my payment been received at the same date. I got a feeling that redONE payment system is currently not reliable, my rm47 gone missing untraceable even maybank has confirmed that payment been made to Red One Network Sdn Bhd.

yaa, the 'bank's receipt of successful transaction cannot be treated as a proof of payment' really worries for some, luckily it is only rm47, if few hundred bucks or thousand been made, I don't know what will happen next.
I just wrote an email to the redone custcare as been advised by the online CS, attached together a copy of my transaction made, and see how it goes.
What is happening to me might be happened to someone else. Paying directly to them by using the handwritten receipt bearing the redone logo is much more safer to do in the future.

via redone self login, fpx system that managed the pay that linked to my maybank account. When jompay been introduced by maybank (biller code 8607), I used that method as it is much faster compared to the fpx. Sebelum ni ok aja in fact during the early days, I got a SMS acknowleged of payment minutes after the transaction, now have to wait few working days lah kata CS.
My recent case, both fpx and jompay all ke laut.

my payment now been updated after my complaint to their CS by email, attached together with the proof of transaction. The last para I just put that I'll escalate this problem to relevant authorities such as CFM or others if things not resolved by today (monday). And yeah... my rm47 updated at last.

I feel so on yesteryear's offering when redone is still put basic speed as quota just to make the whole looked bigger than others. Do they know how painfully 64kbps speed is?

Many things why I made my mind to mnp my numbers to yoodo.
1- plan that is highly customised, you can change your next month plan how many GB want to use, how many minutes to talk and many SMSes to send out. Or want to use 1 out of 3 plans, 2 of 3, or don't want to take any plans at all, buy rm3 booster for sms just to keep your line active in a month.
2- downgrading from postpaid to the hybrid prepaid, the monthly payment is mainly from debit/credit card.
3- I am a very low voice calls user, and almost every month paying rm8+gst. If I am sending a SMS, it will added up to the bill. But most of the time, I never use sms. For the same pattern of usages, I need to pay only rm5 for 50 mins voice in yoodo. Purchases made, gst shall be rebated instantly.
4- yoodo is belongs to Celcom Axiata, have their own system of administrative, sales and not to be mistakenly similar to the super kelentong xpax.

minus the sms, yes. Everything texting is done by social apps nowadays. All the while I am keeping my redone is for tac and few apps that associated with the phone number. Very less voice and almost nil to sms and why not go to cheaper alternative?

I find celcom's speed nowadays heavily congested, more over during these skool holidays and festive season.
