Hi want to ask something, what is the different between redone plan and data8 plan..

What i know is the call rate and sms are the same for both plan and data8 with free 500mb data?

Both minimum commitment are RM8 so that mean that if i am using data8, i can still call or sms to other network until I reach RM8 just like redone plan?

Thanks..

RedPlan8 = there isn't any mobile data quota included
Data8 plan = there is 500MB mobile data quota included

Call & SMS rates for both plans are same.

You will be charged for:

- RM8 (monthly commitment of Data8 or redplan8)
- Calls to other networks
- SMS (5 sen/each to redONE user, 10sen/each to other networks)
- Any additonal data bundle

... until you've reached RM50/month (default credit limit).

Data8 no 53minit local call. Once you make call straight away charge 15sen/min. That commitment rm8 is the 500mb la ,

Afaik calls & sms are not included in the rm8. It's for the 500mb data only. If u call, u need to pay on per use bases.

That 500MB data is at what speed? If it is just basic internet then DiGi prepaid is cheaper. DiGi Best Prepaid has RM68 SLL which can get you one year validity with basic internet. For this Red One, per year is RM96

This is a postpaid. Meaning you can call first, pay later. It's very useful. Until you reach your credit limit that is.

Some 55,000 teachers and Chinese schools across the country are set to benefit from redONE Network Sdn Bhd’s (redONE) two new programmes.

Through the Teachers Reward Data8 (TRData8) and Chinese School Charity (CSC) programmes, the company planned to recognise the important role that teachers and education play in the country, said redONE chief sales officer Ben Teh.

Hi. Help me understand again...

Data8 - RM 8 for 500mb, any calls/sms charge extra.
Red8 - RM 8 for 53 min calls, assuming 0.15/min.

Thanks.

One snag of RedOne is the progress of porting out takes eeeeeeeeeextremely long, like a kind of drawback for their cheap postpaid plan, and wide acceptance including the blacklisted customer.

redone.....
avoid this name guys....

i've been using 1 year and the internet speed is terrible without 4g, the 4g only available for who subscribing the expensive plan, 3G data above. most of the time, i'm unable to surf the internet although with HSDPA full signal.....

then asking for port out, the outlet ask me to fill up the form to wait for approval, this kind of method has causing me lost my way, why do i need to wait for approval to port out to other telco service if the current telco sucks?
i was not giving a damn shit on their excuses which "require approval to port out" statement, and went to celcom to ask for more details. The celcom customer service told me the port out can be actually done immediately without referring to current telco as long as all the outstanding bill has been cleared, and then i paid RM 10 to celcom, received sim card and the next day was successfully ported out and switched over celcom. The nightmare of internet connection end, able to access internet with high speed connection and line is more stable although redone is using celcom backbone, however it's not stable as it advertised by the salesman.

negative comment been given to their official facebook, however they've blocked me after this, so seem like they cannot accept the bad review from customer?

i'll printscreen my statement in case my comment get deleted from this topic.
really unhappy experience from redone.
