QUOTE(iphone @ Nov 2 2016, 04:39 PM) I agree with you, to exit Damen malls is the worst experience. Dunno why they never make one exit straight to Persiaran Kewajipan main road. Currently exiting the mall car park you have to go back into Giant traffic light, finding way and getting jam up to U turn back Psrn. Kewajipan. I am beginning to think the exit doesn't matter at all. Just lack of awareness by most people. I have been to Summit a few times the previous month and there is quite a lot of people. And when I exit at the back. It doesn't feel too bad as the traffic lights wait is normal. |

QUOTE(BeastB @ Nov 3 2016, 12:21 AM) Nobody buys newspapers to see if any new malls have come up. That is just dumb advertizing. There is still hope because the owner got big pockets. For example, Avenue K has been dead for so many years. It's seriously unimaginable for something new and close to KLCC. Taking the escalator to Fitness First was eerie. It was totally dead. From what I see of DM, its just not loud enough. The outside looks like a very expensive looking office building and a smallish mall which doesn't hold a candle to others like Pyramid or even Empire. Empire is booming mostly because of the pubs and hangouts which is very obvious from outside. DM has some lousy taiwanese eateries inside which are no-name brands, and nothing else special or holds any selling point. No cinema, no special activities....I never understood the point of this mall when it was selling and still don't understand it. I wish it can do very well since I own units at Impian which is close by but I think there's not much hope. Would be scary to be an owner of the units here, especially during this prop downturn. It is different now. Still I won't say is that great yet but incredibly better than last time. |

QUOTE(iphone @ Nov 3 2016, 10:31 AM) There is a traffic light at Giant and the crossroad. The few times I been there, the traffic lights were in sync which mean both would go green. And I got out of the area in just one go. Because of this I think it affects the traffic light timing from USJ to SJ. I have to wait longer. |

Yup. IMO, they could do some tunnelling to have a direct exit. Whether the cost warrants it or not it is up to them to decide. Like Mid Valley initially there is only a few entrance/exit and everyone goes round and round and cause massive traffic jams.

QUOTE(JXplod @ Jan 29 2017, 09:04 AM) Da men already perform and serve its function well around usj community. No need to be the crown 👑 jewel of shopping mall in subang. For usj folks, we are spoil with ample of choice to shop around , the fnb is doing great in damen. Ya, better to have food in this places than Pyramid. Just thinking of parking there in the weekend totally no mood.Doing a light shopping n dining is so much nicer compare to other mall which you need to pack with tons of ppl and jam just to enter a mall for a family meal n ease of parking in damen too. |

QUOTE(Babizz @ Jun 28 2017, 08:30 PM) Visited This developement at 1pm last Sunday. Noticed only a few places with ppl namely nam heong go noodle n another place. Most of the other shops were empty. Even parksun was almost empty n the worker mentioned that today ws considered good. On a normal day will hardly have even the few ppl let alone shoppers. Noticed the strata shops outside were far worse. Heard some of these were going for up to 14mil. Meanwhile, Sunway Pyramid u need to wait people to leave to get ur parking.. |
