Good news for damen! Finally an anchor tenant to bring more crowd to damen. Lrt extension will be fully operational on 30/6 so hopefully more people will come!

parkgon is a funny company..opening in many half past six malls..lets see how deep they can go into the red.

Visited Da'men for the 1st time. 1st impression-

Huge mall with many eateries and well designed spacious stores.
Jaya grocer- Premium shopping comes with extra premium price on groceries. For me, it's only good for browsing.

Finally ended up having 'Nam Heong' dinner set for 4 at 6pm for $64.90 (GST inclusive!).
Exceptional good value as it was huge portion with extra free 4 egg tarts. At the end, we had to 'ta pau' the egg tarts and 1/4 of steamed chicken.
Nice looking restaurant but service needs improvement. There was a Q on our way out after dinner.

Can get free parking if one spend >$30. Must go to upper level to validate your parking ticket.

Car park needs improvement on 'EXIT' sign. It's better to have BIG RED EXIT signs. Severe traffic jam on exit trying to get to KESAS highway.

I'm a bit sceptical on the future of the mall as it has to rely on local residents to visit this place. Majority may skip this area due to the severe traffic jam.

I do feel sorry for business owners there as it was Saturday but not many shoppers around. Most opened stores don't have customers in it.

For shopping in Subang area, Sunway Pyramid is still my 1st choice.

May be pav REIT use their leverage at pavilion to persuade parkson to open here. Whether parkson could attract more visitors remain to be seen.

mainly here could be another Shopee concept (recently opened in Fahrenheit)

anyway, saw this complain from one of the staff working in damen:

I'm working here for more than one month since May 2016. I would like officially lodge a complaint report to you regarding on the lift services! Pls check on the lift no.41 & no.43, it was always not functioning well and wasting so much of my time for waiting in the lift lobby! So damn frustrated. Most of the time, there's only one lift working at morning, it's already very slow! And yet, the one which functioning do no functions well at all! I'm waiting at B1 for so long! And the lift stay comes down from Level 4, stopped at LG, then go up to Level 4 again! I'm waiting there at B1 but it never reach at all! What the fuck! At the end I have to take staircase in order to reach my outlet! Damn it! What happen to your operation department, and what kind of standards that you are providing?! Don't tell people that your management is as what pavilion was! Shameful!!!! Fix it ASAP pls! Thanks...
