hi, just to share some personal experience

nearly 2 months ago my car was sent to CoSE Bodywork & Paint centre for repair. after a long wait i collected my car on 21 april.

today i realised that a part of my headlight did not light up (the light bar part). the hood also didnt aligned properly and cant be close like before/ this car was under repair for a long time, and i was told that after repair it undergo QC check before being released. the QC check took days, and yet this is the result i get? this is so frustrating and disappointing.

this centre carry the CoSE name, it baffles me how can the QC people didnt notice the headlight didnt light up properly?? this is so basic!

a few months ago proton said that they will improve their service, few months later, i just dont see it. if this is the best service proton can provide, then its no surprise that proton didnt do so well now.

would not recommend anyone to buy proton. ranting.gif

After about 3 weeks using now got some vibration at the windscreen against the dashboard. Aiyaaaa... So there is some gap in between there, i can insert my fingers in there so any current solutions? Or most direct with service centre? Huhu

axia also same la complain rattling noise fr back n front dashboard sent sc fix already few day come back again. Been to SC highlight 2 three times . doh.gif

can i know which year you have ? surprisingly my 2014 (old stock) never had of these famous rattling sounds i read about. makes me wonder does the rattling happens to most of the cars or its based on batch they were made.

Mine is 2015 bro, before this just a bit i hear the dashboard rattle against the windscreen. Now it getting worse haha

still the problem of our malaysian mentality. poor proton. their own workers are not following their stand to change the perception of malaysian to them

so far no issue like tat.Only heard some say headlight got mist during rain n mystery noise fr interior car seat dashboardn doors. biggrin.gif . ALso the 21.6km nobody can hit tat even we go highway most i get 16km per litre

Sometimes, they try to scam us with third party item, magnet trap, screen washer liquid concentrate, anti bacterial cabin filter etc etc

yup, sent to CoSE Bodywork & Paint centre. was told no stock for headlight, waited nearly 2 months and this is what i get.

Just had a thorough check on the rattling, it came from inside the box beside the acceleration pedal..
It only make noise when the rpm is exactly at 2k during driving, i tot it won't make noise when i press the pedal during a stop with P gear but i was wrong as it still sound when exactly at 2k

I'm currently deciding on proton iriz 1.6 premium or the Suprima S premium. I'm a student and my parents will be paying. so I'm leaning towards the iriz more because of it's lower FC and it's cheaper maintanance. Do any of u have any regrets in buying the iriz? Which is a better buy? Heard lately proton got internal conflict. Been struggling with this decision for a month... Would really appreciate some advice



Edit: also, how much to maintain the car. Sorry, quite clueless. First car

was rushing to work. just because i forgot to check means they get a pass for their terrible work?? heh
and btw, the headlight did not melt when i collect the car. only after early morning drive on the next day that it started to melt.

Knowing its a proton with this kind of service. I would probably check thoroughly after anything done by them. its partially your fault for not checking, and expect everything is well handed. However, they should have done better work on your accident repairs. Im sure we're entilted for consumer protection. So chase them. If nothing happens, go for consumer tribunal.
