Might as well go for DSLR or Mirrorless for pro shot LOL. The Mate 8 has a 1/2.8" sensor, S7 1/2.6", HTC 10 1/2.3". You know who's the winner? 2010 Nokia N8 with 1/1.83" sensor LOL.

My point is, we're just viewing the pics at a resolution of around 1920x1080 on our PC or phone. Unless you have a 4K display or for some reason want to do large prints with photos taken from your phone, or you masturbate while pixel peeping at 100% zoom, then the Mate 8 is good enough.

Yep. I bought the G4 from them too and their warranty covered motherboard as well. My set is AP though.

i think gemfive took too long for only verifying and acknowledged my order in one whole day.

I placed my order this morning, around 7.50am. Only after 1pm, the status changed to acknowledged.

i just noticed that my merchant is seven mobile. i called gemfive and they never give me the shipping details. luckily seven mobile sms me to ask me to fill in the warranty card and only i manage to get the tracking number from them. fyi, the status in gemfive is still in processing although seven mobile has shipped my phone out this evening...

new owner of 64gb champagne gold here. bought from gemfive for rm1976. arrived within 2 days =). should I update to b180 straight away?
oh and how do I register for warranty? I saw a warranty booklet within the box but it's not filled in.

Can't really comment on peeps staying in the southern parts, but the rule of thumb is to always go for Celcom for those residing outside Klang Valley and Penang ...
