You can use without any issues. I am in fact using the QC Aukey charger n at times with my other Tronsmart QC too
Any phone that restrict it's charging to its only charger is out of date already

Previous Note 5 owner here. I personally think that Huawei isn't really specialized in camera, as soon as I've switched to mate 8, the camera is kind of dull compared to Note 5, but it's not bad either, just that comparing with flagship phone like Note 5, S7, Oppo, Z5, and others, it's just normal.

can someone share the pics taken by mate 8.the camera is my priority before i purchased a smartphone.last time when mate 8 1st introduced the camera reviews is mixed but most of it complaints the blur and grainy results.according to huawei it was a firmware issue and will be tackled on the next update.so its been a while any improvement?

You can't have it all i guess. I think many already said that the camera is neither here or there. Not the best but not absolutely horrible either. For me, it looks pretty nice when i use HDR and put saturation to +1.

Oh yeah, I thought the screen sensitive issue is only me, so it does happens

Before ordering my Mate 8 I was also very worried about the quality of the camera. Before I had an LG G2 that takes nice pictures considering it's a 3 years old device. I also have 2 reflex digital cameras and a nice Sony RX100 so I know when a picture is technically good . I must say that I'm almost fully satisfied with the quality of the pictures of the Mate 8 (NTX-L29 C636 b170), the only complains are: a) not easy to focus close objects when taking a macro; b) the HDR mode that in most of the cases generates a result identical to the standard mode; b) the noise clearly visible even at 50 ISO in the area of homogeneous color, mainly in the blue sky. However I must say that the last issue can be easily fixed by processing the file with a noise reduction software (such as Noiseless or Topaz DeNoise for OS X) without compromising the fine details of the image.
I'm sure that the b and c  issues could be mostly fixed by Huawei by modifying the current settings of the jpeg engine, I'm not sure they will ever do it.

Yesterday i saw the Huawei Phone parts price list in huawei service centre when i collect my phone.

share here so can give you some idea if your phone need to repair. i find the price is more reasonable compare to other brand like Samsung and Apple.

BTW, i send my Mate 8 for RMA before the phone got one bright spot on the screen. they one to one swap for me and can get it within 3 hours. i satisfy with the service.

Mine requests for my location. Weird. Doesnt with my note 5.

No issie with the app. Just that it tries to locate me. Nv had this before.

Weird. Why does maybank wanna know where i am. Furthermore, previously it didnt.
My gps is always on, thing is, why maybank is seeking my location and it has nv done that until i factory reset my phone.
