C'mon la peeps, use your own common sense. If Leica were to provide lenses crafted by them, how much will Huawei is going to sell the P9 then? Sell too high, no one will buy ... Even if it has Leica logo on it.

Just sharing something i found online. This is a theme pack for Android N Beta for Mate 8. Suitable for those who don't like Huawei's default theme and would prefer something more stock looking.
Warning : this theme pack file only suitable for Huawei devices running EMUI 4.x only. Download the file from here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwFB8T1LMC...ew?usp=drivesdk Copy the file to HWTheme folder Open Theme Manager and select it. Profit. Credits goes to whoever that compiled this icon set. |

QUOTE(x88yunkw @ May 24 2016, 10:35 PM) Today is my 1st time get to hold and play the mate 8. Impression is good. Bright screen, crystal clear as usual produced by Huawei. But it failed to change my mind to replace my note 5 with mate 8. Beside the battery life, I don't see any better, not to say the camera result. No phones are perfect, you buy a particular model becoz there is something on that model that you liked the most, like great image quality, beautiful build quality, ease of use, support. Finding a balance of all the criteria is hard, and if you do found one, everything inside the criteria is going to be mediocre.[attachmentid=6707483][attachmentid=6707485][attachmentid=6707487] |

QUOTE(latte36 @ Jun 11 2016, 09:25 PM) Haha well m8 is not bad really. The battery really kicks ass. I thought the rest wont be far off but i was wrong. In all honesty, from a guy coming from Note 5, the Mate 8 is not a bad phone actually. It ticks all the right boxes, the only downside, as with any other Chinese Android phones, are their Android customization and implementation. If the Mate 8 were to run on stock ROM, just like its sibling the Nexus 6p, i am sure that it will seriously kick ass big time.Only the batt is better, the rest note 5 is more superior. Oh well, thats what i need now since i surf alot while working |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Jun 11 2016, 10:04 PM) Yeah, their software seriously sucks, but then if they made it to Vanilla android, it would be the same as N6P, and Mate 8 will no longer have any selling points The trick here is to instead of OS customization, HW could do better in doing app customization instead. Tweak or introduce new apps for camera, gallery, backup, phone mgt, but still stay vanilla. That would make the phone awesome. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 14 2016, 07:54 AM) Users are mixed in b320 or b321 Nobody seems to commenting on batt. life on B190, but it has been released for quite some while now. Is it any better to downgrade to this version instead?Personally battery life had been great on b320 or b321 You need to try yourself to assess You can always downgrade back to b180 without data loss |
