If data is important to you, then don't skimp on a lousy microsd card. Buy a good one. It might be a little expensive, but at least ir won't fail on you. I use a Sandisk Ultra 128GB, bought it second hand at a very good price.

No phones are perfect, you buy a particular model becoz there is something on that model that you liked the most, like great image quality, beautiful build quality, ease of use, support. Finding a balance of all the criteria is hard, and if you do found one, everything inside the criteria is going to be mediocre.

In all honesty, from a guy coming from Note 5, the Mate 8 is not a bad phone actually. It ticks all the right boxes, the only downside, as with any other Chinese Android phones, are their Android customization and implementation. If the Mate 8 were to run on stock ROM, just like its sibling the Nexus 6p, i am sure that it will seriously kick ass big time.

The trick here is to instead of OS customization, HW could do better in doing app customization instead. Tweak or introduce new apps for camera, gallery, backup, phone mgt, but still stay vanilla. That would make the phone awesome.

Me waiting for the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Wonder what the price gonna be like. Killer specs except for the battery. Can't seem to comment on camera IQ tho, sample photos can be misleading.

Nobody seems to commenting on batt. life on B190, but it has been released for quite some while now. Is it any better to downgrade to this version instead?
