from Note 5 to Mate 8.
super impressive with battery life of Mate 8.
10 hours of SOT.wow!
same usage but with note 5 manage to get 3-4 hours only.

me using 4gb version while my wife usng 3gb version.
personally nothing much different. but i do test for everyday day usage.
just for example,i try to start up our mate 8 from off, 4gb version does start-up 1-2s faster than 3gb.

for me the disadvantage of mate 8 over note 5 is s-pen,display and camera.
but overall im in love with mate 8 more than note 5 because of battery life.
can get SOT up to 9-10 hours. with note 5, i only manage to get 3-4 hours only.
for performance wise, i think note 5 and mate 8 is on par.

same with me.thats why i sold off my note 5 and get mate 8 4gb.
charged yesterday morning, right now still got 40% battery with SOT 4 hours already.

40 hours standby. 6 hours SOT. im in love with battery endurance of mate.
so i think gonna stick with mate series.

you should buy it.even quite thick a little bit, but protection is excellent.been using it since i buy mate 8 last june.

yup.smoke black for me and rose gold for my wife's mate. colour still okay until now.

if you choose smoke black,whole case is black.if u choose clear,whole case is clear.

iOS shows you battery usage for the past 24 hours and seven days, unrelated to when your phone was last fully charged. It's not like Android where the counters reset once your battery hits 100% again

im using note 5 before change to mate.
for camera note 5 is the best camera i ever use in smartphone.
but overall mate 8 camera is not dissapointed me.quite nice but lack in sharpness.
need to edit sharpness after snap a photo and the camera will be very near quality with note 5. i wish nougat update will have sharpness option in camera setting.

funding for mate 9?
i think can let go around 1.5k?

china already got nougat.
