Google keyboard is good to my mate 8

i notice that mate 8 has focus issue when the object too close.it has to has certain distance when want to take picture close up. i noticed it after update to b170... anyone has this issue

what is the progress for fox century park?

do I require backup before flash into b180? like contact, wechat, image, etc

I found b170 so far notification especially LINE abit weird and my battery life only achieve 5 hour and 30min.

im using B180 and recently noticed 3g/4g will disconnected and need to turn on aeroplane mode then disable it to get back connection.

Just realised something.

Does your mate 8 wake up when u receive sms/whatsapp or any notification?

Wake up as in the screen lights up.

Secondly, i enable whatsapp to show in lock screen, ntg also
edit : solved for both. just in case u are wondering like me, if u turn on pattern lock for security, u cant have lock screen notifications and it wont turn on screens when received.

Don't have such issue - I'm using pin for security as I'm using finger print sensor. it only allows me to put in this method if i'm using finger print - else if i use pattern it won't allow me to use finger print

Yes. But u cant use pattern security lock and u have to enable/allow whatsapp (for example) to show in lock screen. Im getting it now but previously with pattern lock, it doesnt show.

honor 7 can, so mate 8 should be no issue too.

OK my purpose is to unlock bootloader and restore data. Trying to find the easiest way to include WhatsApp video and data. I had not been doing unlock and custom firmware for a long time.

Can I

1. Use Mate 8 backup apps to backup to MicroSD Card
2. Unlock Bootloader - will erase data not sure if all the data
3. After unlock I think personal data and apps is erased.
4. Will use Mate Backup to Restore the backup data from the MicroSD

Will this works.

Need receipt to prove that you are the owner of the phone, and phone too. 1 to 1 swap depend stocks, better check with them before visit sometimes.
