It won't hang at all on normal photos even up to 6-7 mb in size

Than absolutely no such problems on mine. I sent on average at least 10+ pictures daily. Perhaps you can try to reset the phone

Usually i recharge whenever it reached about 10%. It took less than 2.5 hours to charge back up to 100%. Not very fast but acceptable for its 4000mAh battery size. Just recorded 6.5 hours SOT with more than 32 hours on battery. Impressive battery life.
The msd card is class 10 or? Try with good msd card?

Class 10 should be alright. I did quick search and saw sandisc ultra got pretty good users review. Not sure though as I don't use sd card all this while.

If problem persists, maybe you can contact huawei support.

But since u mentioned using sd card only will experience the lags, perhaps try with another micro sd card? Or the card is from ur previous phone?

Edit: Just checked and u mentioned the card being used in other phones. However i still suggest to test with another card and see.

Is Huawei Mate 8 camera really that bad compare to note 5 and s7 edge? I use to own S7 edge and I cant really see the difference.

Went to Their Service Center just to purchase a Original Huawei Fast Charge USB Cable, the staff their lack of knowledge about the cable, in the end after 30 minute of waiting as a "VIP" customer, was told no stock for ONE SINGLE USB cable.
PS: SC is Hello Service Center in Plaza Berjaya.

Explained more about the issue, yet Huawei Dont care about the video only do and say what is in their Job Description.

Purchased the phone not even half year, prized at RM2399, briefed as VIP service yet more like VSS Service (Very Shitty Services)
Called the hotline, all advised Factory reset, not the first time having issue with Mate 8, every single time called up to the hotline, agent said, escalate your issue to higher department, then call back and request customer to do a factory reset other than provide an actual solution.
Buying VIP MODEL and experience a Terrible Service from Huawei.
Very disappointing. Good Product yet Service is like Shit.
Anyone faces similar issue in Mate 8 or experience with Huawei Customer Service?

Anyways, am done with my Mate 8 for now and have moved on to the iPhone 7 Plus. Waiting to see what Mate 9 brings to the table
