Yeah. Flashed NXT-L29C636B521 today but revert back to L29C432B521 . C636B521 not stable compare with C432B521. Issue with Themes and lagging.

I managed to fixed the theme issue maybe after I rooted my device. I'm not sure because I tried a lot of method

I just debrand it to C432 then flash B521 via twrp but now I'm using C636B521. Better as it has icon and number notification method. C432 only has number .

I got the B521 OTA already. before B521 I'm on B180.

I'm assuming your manual update via twrp right?

Just download B180 / B200 / B211. Unlocked bootloader and twrp. If you want to manual update your nougat again.

I'm not sure if C636B320 is official for malaysia firmware. I heard it was a leaked firmware.

Anyway what's your build number? NXT-L29C636B320? You can check it at Setting -> About.

As long as the build number is NXT-L29C636B*** and you have registered as beta. You will get the OTA update. Just need to be patient until 31.12.2016 ☺

Lol. It's not that hard. Flash 1st zip do not reboot then flash 2nd zip do not reboot then factory reset and reboot but I have done extra steps to install twrp and root for Nougat.

Yes. download the 2 zip files then flash it from twrp recovery.

Before I provide you the step by step. Which firmware are you using right now?

1. The 2 zip files only can be install via twrp. Means you need to unlocked your bootloader and install twrp(warranty will be void).

2. Another method is to downgrade your firmware to L29C636B211 via dload and hope you will get B521 OTA update. This method is without unlocked bootloader and twrp.

Method no. 2

** Make sure you backup your files before proceed.

1. Download L29C636B211 "update.zip" firmware.
2. Extract update.zip and copy update.app to dload folder at your sdcard/usb otg. If dload folder doesn't exist. Create the folder.
3. Shutdown your phone
4. Insert/plugin sdcard/usb otg
5. Press and hold volume up + down + power
6. Release it once huawei logo appear.
7. Wait until complete and let it load. ***
8. Once you're in. Go to Setting -> Software update.
9. You will get B521 OTA update. (I assumed you have registered as beta tester.)

*** If is doesn't load. You need to wipe the cache by entering erecovery. Press and hold volume up + power. Release it once you see huawei logo.

If you don't mind to void your phone warranty then only I will guide you using the method no. 1

I don't think huawei will based on the firmware that you register in the beta form but what I think is huawei malaysia will follow the latest firmware for malaysia that is B211. You might need to downgrade and try it or else wait until new year. Please backup before downgrade. Just in case.

You can try to wait until today. If tomorrow no OTA. You might need to downgrade. I received my OTA on 25.12.2016. After I downgraded my firmware to B211 from unofficial firmware.
