yes! but for certain model only... check if ur model applicable...
they will check if the phone ruin due to itself or on accident(purpose)
if passed and have ready stock, u can get a new one within the same day or maybe hours

been using 64gb variant since may... my sot average 8-10 hours depending on my games frequent...
better use smart than performance mode and I recommend don't use google keyboard as I think it's been craving the battery.... brightness always set to auto... way colder than iphone 6s, j7, j5, note 3,4,5 and asus zf5 in long operating time...
other model above was used by family members ..
even my mom wanna change to mate8 when her j7 and note 4 doomed... if you wanna go for tempered glass , do try out x one brand... drop 20+ times from 3-4 feet screen face down... no crack nor scratch... no random reboot or lag detected...
only hope for more app can use in dual window in the future
