Amazing battery life, 2 hours of SOT and still left with 81% battery, best phone I've ever used so far for battery life!

Previous Note 5 owner here. I personally think that Huawei isn't really specialized in camera, as soon as I've switched to mate 8, the camera is kind of dull compared to Note 5, but it's not bad either, just that comparing with flagship phone like Note 5, S7, Oppo, Z5, and others, it's just normal.

Just bought Mate 8 Mocha Brown yesterday. Gotta love the smoothness !

I never bother with such stuffs. I will use the supplied Aukey cable or any of my other generic cables

So long ago n I cannot really give you an answer
Anyway I am happy with the Mate8 camera. Don't be influenced by those Web reviews as 10/10 were done based on early firmware
The camera is snappy n pics quality I deemed good enough for stuffs I always did with it - sharing on Facebook, Whatsapp
Photo shots quality isn't in the class of LG V10 ( I rate as best phone camera I had used), or S7e. I rate is better than Mate7 camera
Anyway I am not a camera geek n my demands isn't that high unlike some users

Agreed. Camera is totally not on par with n5, then again, i had hdr on all the time. On the m8, u need to manually turn it on for each photo.

No other complaints.

Mate 8 camera is ok.i move from v10.

No idea. Maybe got some sort of diagnostic mode? Mine work just fine even with the smart cover closed.

Did a proximity sensor test, its working fine.

How do u normally answer using raise to ear? Do u wait for awhile before bringing it up or just bring it up or.. Anything specific of that sort?

I would appreciate if any 32gb version owner can share the amount of the usable internal storage?
Because I'm planning to get the 32gb, but I need to use 2 sim, so I cannot use memory card.

I had no plans to get the p9 plus. Mate8 is sufficiently good enough and is a 6 incher ( my favorite size)

can someone share the pics taken by mate 8.the camera is my priority before i purchased a smartphone.last time when mate 8 1st introduced the camera reviews is mixed but most of it complaints the blur and grainy results.according to huawei it was a firmware issue and will be tackled on the next update.so its been a while any improvement?
