sorry being a bit late starter over here, just played GoW several our ago, and the point where u going to plant the resonator underground...

my friend(which already played GoW more than times,probably 6...) said Theron Guard only used one weapon only? I just wondering if im not mistaken, last time i fought with them they mainly used Torque bow, when they gotten into dogfight, they switch to either shotgun or lancer...

just to be sure... my friend said im quite unfortunate coz when im playing, he saw a lot more that he never seen before(even he finished it 6 times already) and luckily, i just playing casual for now coz i just start played it for several hour only...

*funniest thing is... after i killed Boomer somewhere before riding train cart, im searching for (what do u call his weapon?), what i found is only shotgun... and im certain he's alone and no other locust around him...*

yay just finished on casual, hardcore next!

my strategies... pray

weapon of choice : Longshot & Torque bow.
Kryll surrounding him, shoot him with torque bow, without kryll... headshot him...

why pray? lets hope he got stuck to a square stone( 4 overall), just try to lure him to get stuck... or... shoot him before he manage to reach you... or plan a route to run away from him if he almost catching up with u....

one thing i never tried but quite...hmm.. workable... practice ur blindshot... shotgun or magnum quite useful at short range, i go for magnum...

just imagine my friend tried to defeat RAAM at insane, turn out even after a week he still not giving up and play probably more than 20 - 50(probably 100) times to defeat RAAM, tried every strategies he found, and the best is trying to lure him so he get stuck... and i saw the best kill ever for killing last boss in game... blind throw grenade... it's really funny and somehow look really cool hehe...

mine using Dlink... to enter i use username : admin pass : none(don't key in anything... just enter)...

set ur static ip at ur x360 config, my friend playing N3 right now so i can't tell where is it, just search around at system and go for network something... it's like setting Ip address 4 ur PC if happen to be u share ur network with other pc... Default gateway(pls correct me) is 192.168.0.1 and ur ip is 192.168.0.x (x = put any number, e.g. 192.168.0.2 @ 192.168.0.26 @ etc...)

i will update if my friend finish his game...

edit : sorry im not quite understand wit ur question, setup static ip on x360 or pc? if pc then right click on ur local area connection, choose properties, choose internet protocol and click properties tab and so on...

oh yeah, just finished on hardcore difficulty, the funny thing is, like my friend did, i killed RAAM by blind throwing grenade and land on his face directly. The different is, my friend done it on insane...

Ah, finally.. just found a great recipe...

1 Lancer
1 Torque bow
4 Grenade
Fresh Meat RAAM

First lure RAAM as close as posible... use torque to skin off kryll and prepare lancer tender his meat

after a while when u think meat is already tender enough let the grenade do the final touch... tag him to death...

thats it... finish all difficulty single player and now i don't know what to do until i get my gold membership...

question 4 me?... yup... insane...alone

funny enough i killed RAAM only blind fired him... both lancer and torque bow...

i think boomshot can be use too, if u don't wan to use torque bow, as long it explode...

after that i just tag him... just for fun...

4 block in the middle also can... near where u enter also can... the trick is, RAAM confused either he want to shoot u or just knock u with his gun but usually he choose to knock u off. trust me, try learning to keep certain distance with him u'll be fine. well not all the time. I got to dance around him to avoid being shot by reaver... they really annoying... just get cover if get a bit far...

yo relax mate... my advise to u, don't concentrate on one locust... widen ur view, coz this games dev program locust to "rambo" against u so u get more chainsaw. Try to take cover everytime u get hit... play slow n steady... it's better than meet up last living locust on, get killed and reload from beginning of last checkpoint.

i don't use longshot as much as other ppl... most i use lancer and torque bow. than try learn to aim a blind shot. Trust me, no one gonna like somebody blind fire a torque bow and 80% chance it going to hit u. If locust to near, blind shot with lancer or shotgun... about 70 - 90% they back off and go for cover, than change to primary weapon and shoot em'...

if u meet wretches... instead of chainsawing it, go for melee with other weapon. Trust me even in insane i knock them just using torque bow or magnum with one shot. But be careful if u get surround (don't ever thinking to chainsaw lambert, not sure knocking them but i just shoot when they got into my sight.

take it easy, relax, cover a lot, plan ur route, learn n memorize when going to pop up and important thing is... don't become a trigger happy

*Next time i gonna record my fight using hp againts insane RAAM and kill him faster than last time i use lancer and torque bow against him

Blast with torque then go for lancer... out of torque arrow then go 'nade him...

Try to be as close as possible, shoot the arrow to scare kryll away then blast with either lancer, longshot or shotgun. Rinse and repeat Try aim to head (not with bow, i always miss when tried to aim to head).

already playing for few weeks (i think i repeat insane SP few times already) and RAAM casual... well like marcus said : "easy" hehe... no offense coz i got trouble fighting with RAAM first time.
