Currently they're conducting survey for EIA and SIA report.

It seems different alignment than the past with the inclusion of Taman Sri Sinar, Kampung Puah, Jalan Langkawi, Hillview, Gasing etc.

Don't think it will go towards Bukit Damansara but instead run along the Sprint Kerinchi Link until Sri Hartamas. There's one provisonal station at Pusat Sains Negara show that part will run along with Sprint highway.

Yeah the Bukit Kiara interchange station has been planned long time ago with currently the Sime Darby Convention Centre/Badminton Association Malaysia and INTAN nearby.

Nope, macam change plan reroute the alignment from running through Sentul Barat and Sentul Timur to have interchange at Titiwangsa.

Nope macam KTM need new station, and I think the Jalan Kuching station will be located somewhere near the Segambut roundabout, most likely the vacant land opposite of the Royal Regent Sri Putramas 3 Condo.

I think the inclusion to these stations can have more people come to the commercial area like Desa Sri Hartamas, Kiara 163, Arcoris, and 1MK etc. without bring their car. Parking was a pain in the ass pre-mco.

Btw the Bukit Kiara station was located at the border of Bukit Damansara near the INTAN and Sprint Kerinchi Link and Damansara Link interchange side, it's not exactly at the centre of Bukit Damansara so it's not directly affected.

If anything the Kerinchi Link from INTAN to Sri Hartamas would be the MRT3 construction site since the underground alignment will run underneath the highway.

MRT3 project has been revived since last year budget announcement.

Yes the MRT3 alignment will run towards Sprint highway up from Bukit Kiara/INTAN to Sri Hartamas so just barely touching the Bukit Damansara border or should I say not going into Bukit Damansara at all so the richfag there can happy. I hope MRT Corp can modify plan to include the Pusat Sains Negara station as full station instead just giving provisional status (i.e. station may be built after MRT3 been operational depend on the demand) to give convenience for staffs working at Securities Commission and attract publics going to National Science Centre.

Possible NIMBY for those stations:

S02 Sri Hartamas (Maybe, but the underground station was most likely situated underneath the busy Kerinchi Link-Jalan 19/70A junction with the main station entrance at the Desa Sri Hartamas commercial area side so who knows)
S03 Mont Kiara (Station likely at Jalan Kiara 4 but many Young Executive, Expats stay there so who knows)
S04 Dutamas (Same)
S07 Jalan Kuching (Same)
S16 Hillview (Rich area of Ampang/Ulu Kelang?)
S30 Gasing (Not sure the residents of Sek 5, Sek 9 and Sek 10 PJ would handle an interchange station was build there)

Anyway I think the alignment still not finalized because MRT Corp currently conduct survey for EIA and SIA report. If they ever go your home doing survey then you may voice your opinion.

Segambut side have add Dutamas (North Kiara) & Taman Sri Sinar station

Titiwangsa replace Sentul Barat and Sentul Timur

Setapak side have substantial addition to the stations

Two more stations being added between Setiawangsa and Ampang Point i.e. AU Keramat and Taman Hillview

Pandan side seems ditching Pandan Perdana in favor of Taman Kencana and Taman Cheras

No passing Bandar Malaysia for now

Kerinchi side have minor changes of direction with Jalan Gasing PJ have interchange station to KJ line, which means KJ line may have add one station between Taman Jaya and Universiti station.

Also someone in SSC forum did the MRT3 alignment map overlay with OpenStreetMaps

So the Dutamas station is actually near the Bukit Prima Pelangi and Segambut Dalam side.

Bukit Kiara =/= Bukit Damansara

I was wonder why Bukit Damansara was in the discussion? Like the MRT3 didn't even directly pass through the place.
