Guys, i'm having some problem with my V3222AU right now.
The specification is as below:

AMD Turion64 X2 1.6GHz [can't remember the exact model number of processor]
Team Elite DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz 1GB x 2 [Total 2GB of Ram]
80GB Sata Harddisk
GeForce 6150

Okay, here's some explanation about the problem.
Before this, i've been using XP on it for a very long time, no problems at all.

A week ago, i've switched from XP to Vista Ultimate 32Bit. [Formatted the HDD and install clean Vista]
I saw that the CPU never runs idle, it's always working, it never goes below 30%, and when i ran Winamp, it goes 100%.

Then i update the vista to the latest update, the problem is still there.
Offcourse i didn't forget to install all the drivers.

Then i try updating to Vista Service Pack 1.
The problem is still there.

Before you ask, no there's absolutely no virus / spyware or whatsoever in the hdd, i've scanned using Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 & Nod32, there's no virus or spyware at all.

I don't understand why it never goes idle.
Because of the CPU is never going idle, the processor produces a lot of heat, thus it causes the fan to run at full speed in every second the notebook is powered up. And this results to the batteries going empty in just a matter of minutes.
In fact, the battery goes dried up in just 45 minutes.

The battery is still new, i just got it replaced because the first one died 2 weeks ago, it doesn't want to be charged at all, thus i RMA'ed the notebook with HP service center in bukit damansara and got a new replacement battery.

I didn't install a lot of applications in it, every applications in the V3222AU is also in my Dell XPS M1730.
My XPS didn't have this kind of problem.

Anyone knows why?
Anyone here using V3222AU with Vista Ultimate 32Bit having the same problem as me?

Help please. icon_question.gif
