I'm going to buy the Presario 3614AU this weekend. So I go to HP website to find the driver for WinXp but it only has a few like HP Quick Launch Buttons, Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver, HP Wireless Assistant, HP Software Update while Vista OS has a lot of drivers.

Where can I find all the necessary driver for my laptop? Can I use the driver for V3000, V3100 or V3200 on the 1st page for V3614AU? Thanks for your help.

yeap drivers from page 1 is compatible, follow those instruction on page 1 and you'll be fine wink.gif

Thx, i've alreay bought the laptop, everything s going well except that the backlight bleeding at the bottom of the screen is quite bad sad.gif
I'm not sure if i can ask for a replacement for this problem or not, just one day of usage sad.gif

no bleeding issues on mine, maybe you can try to ask your dealer for more info..
if i'm not mistaken less then 1 week can 1 to 1 swap according to the sales from the shop i purchased from.

hmm how can i install it manually by device manager???
*
Extract driver which u had downloaded using winrar in to a location eg: c:\driver\audio
press win+pause key to open your device manger,
1, look for device with "?"
2, right click on the device and navigate to properties, from the pop up box select driver, press update driver.
3, do not use auto, specify the driver location (c:\driver\audio) and the os will continue the rest for you.
4, if you do encounter any kind of warning informing you that the particular driver is not signed just ignore it and press "continue"

get what i mean ?

before proceeding make sure you had install modem driver first.

1. prepare the driver, use winrar to extract the driver to a specific folder eg- c:\driver\audio
2. now go to device manager > select the soundcard, select update driver.
3. when u see the hardware wizard pop up choose no and press next.
4. Select advanced and press next(install from a list or specific location)
5. select don't search and choose the driver to install and press next.
6. press have disk and locate the driver which you had extracted earlier eg c:\driver\audio
7. you will see "conexant high defination audio listed on model, select and press next.
8. enjoy your audio.

for my case i'm using driver version 3.30.0.00 Rev A or sp34386 from HP.
