i juz get tis new laptop & come wif vista basic.
i format & install xp but i cant find tis model compaq presario v3418au driver in the hp compaq malaysia. i juz hav seen have only driver 4 keyboard & bios in xp section.
any1 can show me wher can get the basic driver like audio, graphic, etc since compaq put the recovery windows into hdd & i cant view in xp.

oso when i using tis laptop 4 long period, on left touchpad really hot, is it becoz of processor or hdd at tht side??

i hav problem wif the wireless detection, it cant even detect when i put near the wireless router. what is the problem?

i hav install using tis driver broadcom wireless lan driver v6.1a & hp wireless assistant v3.0d

yup, got icon shown in tray but it shown there is not connected since my wireless router is on, i oso test on other laptop but it works fine.

i ald switch on the wireless button & hp wireless assistant. is it still got button or anything i havnt on?

i m using v3418au, can recommand which suitable 4 tis models.
