I got myself a V3415AU from all it hypermarket, forgot to ask whether they sell extra battery 9-cells.
Anyway, anyone knows whether lowyat sells them and how much ? The battery drains quite fast IMO, unlike my dell inspiron, it has a software configuration to reduce power consumption when power is not plugged. I am sure its not a big deal since these remedy can be customised. |

Nope, dont have any problem with the heat maybe havent stress it yet. But I do realise there are less ventilation exhaust compare to my dell.

For instance, if you unplug power cord, the monitor's brightness will automatically reduced and other features will also be disabled (wifi, blutooth..so on) to save power. In addition, the V3000 series blue led lits up all the time which consume power as well. If I am on the run, I dont really need the led to be on all the time. I prefer it to lit for 10 secs if any keys are touched then switched off to save power. I think that's the only downer for me, battery life and power management. That's the reason why I need extra 9-cells !!!! |
