Guys I have a question about my picking skill, like for example, when I strum A chord using my fingers but not a pick, I can strum it nicely from the starting of fifth string without even looking at the chord, but when I use the pick I will accidentally hit the sixth string, and mess up the sound of it. What is my problem, I have been playing for weeks and my picking skill still have not improve.

learn to mute with ur left thumb or any other finger depending what chord u are holding by pushing the tip of the finger against the 6th string.

Don't worry playing guitar with pick is another step of guitar learning smile.gif you could try strum few chord without resting your arm at guitar, once you get the angle and comfortable zone baru rest your arm.

its just practice, hit it slower then increase the speed, aim for the 5th thats all

theres no magical thing inside it
