not that difficult - go to the developer and ask for the manager and show them the watsapp conversation
and demand for the RM500 to be refunded otherwise tell them you will make an official complaint to the housing tribunal (google for the contact and how to submit complaint)..

does NOT matter you went through the agent as the latter is representing the developer..
