I must say staying here is quite convenient as it has many F&B outlets like Delle, Movida, Good Food & Co, a Post Office,a few mixed rice/nasi kandar places, a supermarket (Jaya Grocer in Jaya 33), mall (Jaya mall) with cinema and Cold Storage and other amenities like a Sports toto outlet and several banks, all within walking distance in Section 13 and 14.
The girls here are ok but the local amois are mostly Chinese ed and girl next door type.
Traffic is relatively smoother in this part of PJ compared to the area around Jaya One, but it's still pretty bad. There are plenty of idiot drivers who park on the road outside Plaza 33 and Best Western Hotel PJ blocking the traffic flow.
Occupancy rate is Centrestage is high but 99% are tenants and most of these are those with limited budgets - local and foreign students, some (young) office workers, and substantial number of foreign blue-collar workers who work in convenience shops and F&B outlets nearby. About 50% locals and 50% are mostly Bangladeshis, Middleeastern, Filipinos, Indonesians, Thais, Indians from India and Chinese from China. The "rich" expats, "desireable" expats like whites, Japanese and local PMEBs (managers, senior execs etc) are very few.
The tenants throw rubbish all over the place - there was a comment on Facebook about it being like a "low-cost flat".
And be warned that Centrestage (or at least some units) suffers from pest/bug infestation - I've encountered ants and cockcoaches and it's very hard to kill them all, plus a couple of creatures that I've never seen before. I suspect they were brought in by foriegn workers.
