It's not available for the more recent versions but friends and I have it in our v4, and also my DNBPv1.

Some plans max per day is RM8, some are RM3. Too many versions that I've lost track of which is which.

As some have expected/predicted, similar happened with New Best v2 when they started giving free basic internet, took away SLL then came back with a tag of RM68. Now they added free music freedom, removed SLL, and came back at RM108.

Well, since the demand for SLL is still strong, I guess they've the opportunity to do this.

You need to have a credit balance more than the price of the SLL in order to see the option...

Didn't know about this as I don't use these things...

Digi New Best Prepaid v1 or Digi Best Prepaid v1? I've a Digi New Best and I did what ming86 has suggested.

If you want to change your plan, Digi will only allow you to change to the latest version - you can't choose - unless you hop over to Digi Live instead.

If it's available to you, just do it and leave the CS alone. Maybe they really don't know about it, or instructed to give you that answer.

Whatever it is, don't end up making Digi decide to remove it altogether.

I've IDDIC with SLL. Had SLL first, then subscribed IDDIC when someone shared about it. Even renewed SLL when IDDIC was still active. IMO, don't wait if it can be done, don't wait until they quietly remove it then nothing to wait for.

There was an option to unsubscribe, not sure about now.

I wasn't charged in the end, still using it. Quota is automatically renewed monthly.

Not sure about 10 years? Don't even know if Digi or we will still be around in 5 years, don't think we need to worry until 10 years later...?

Subscribe and use first (IF you're eligible), and even if you're charged, what's RM10 if it's free even for only 5 years?

And RM108 for 365 days.

AFAIK, no option to downgrade to older version.

Digi New Best v1? On the app, you can see it from the Extend Validity option when you tap on it.

I still see it on mine, RM38 for 365 days.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that you need to have a credit balance more than the cost in order to see the option.

Unlike the old versions like RM38 (no free basic internet nor free music freedom) and RM68 (no free music freedom), the RM108 is for that 2016 version that has both freebies in the package.

I thought can subscribe back... If cannot, then I guess they've disabled it for anyone who has unsubscribed before...? Or maybe they've stopped allowing anymore subscriptions?

Not for new registrations, but existing users still have access?

I learned never to hesitate too much when really want to subscribe to these stuff like IDDIC and even SLL. That's why when a friend bought his Digi prepaid early this year, I made him subscribe SLL immediately instead of waiting for the RM70 top up validity to sit through (over 2, or even 3 months if you include the initial 30-day validity), then it just about went up to RM108.

Price went up because of the free basic internet and then the music freedom. I wonder if Digi actually wants to just make more money, or discourage SLL altogether.

Can you post screenshots of what you see on the MyDigi app? Like exactly which version is your Digi Best plan, what's shown on the Internet tab (2nd tab IIRC and details), further on the Freebies tab or something awaiting redemption? Screenshots will be easier to explain, I think.

What I can think of now is, there may be a limited period after SIM card activation for you to redeem the music freedom thingy. Let me try to find their T&C if it's mentioned there.

I recall doing it for my friend few months back, and that's through the app because I don't remember dialing the redemption code from his phone.

You might want to see if you can do it by logging in to MyDigi from the browser (instead of the app) and check from there. Otherwise call the CSO to check if there's a deadline for redemption. Last would maybe be asking them on the Digi Community forum.

When Digi makes a change/removal like this, it normally won't affect the existing batch, only new/subsequent registrations/MNPs after its implementation.
