Hi guys, any perfect solution for whatsapp notification issue after update to MM?
Reset the phone but problem still remained. The whatsapp notification works for few hours only after restart the phone each time, it's annoying.
(Ps. already put it as protected app, enable all notification etc.)

tried all of those but still didn't fix it

no notification at all, only notice there's new message when i click into whatsapp

this bug is too annoying hence i flashed back to b320

No notification or sound alert. But app badge is present though if msg is coming.
Doze, performance lock, recent app lock all done. Only solution is restart the phone but only lasted for few hours.

Already tried uninstall and clean install whatsapp, even tried installing from HiApp upto the extend of factory reset the phone. But problem still persist.

Though the battery consumption over idle time is improved.  With B130, idling with flight mode overnight she used to lose 9-10% but now it is about 2-3%.  Is that common for all here ?

coming from Lollipop with TWRP, need to use SRK Tools bootloader, change it back to stock. Then proceed with upgrade.

* Marshmallow = Yes

  Step: 1. download arm64 (v86, sdk23) http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/
  Step: 2. install the zip file via twrp
  Step 3. once done, reboot will take LONGER like 20-30minutes
  Step 4. when you're in, install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk
  Step 5. Enjoy xposed

Yea, I understand the feeling. But there is always a way to downgrade back to Lollipop, if you want to. Then, you can choose not to upgrade marshmallow. (by theory, i think it should work)
But, what do you mean by your unit is being force to update Marshmallow? does it mean when you purchased, it is alrd MM?

is it beta? maybe just same version number.

previously honor 6 also the same, from kitkat to lollipop, the version number remained the same.

Eh, you can just flash other country's firmware to a Malaysian Honor 7 set willy nilly? Correct me if im wrong, but isn't the other country's build number different, hence incompatible?

the problem with honor phones is, different region provide different updates, not together at once.

and somehow malaysia's honor is super slow and inefficient, but then again, expected la. 

edit: just noticed they removed honor 7 MM update from hihonor website, right after your complain.  somehow they are efficient in this.

no notification issue, even for hangouts, last time got issue, now no more issue.

when charging, it's automatically fast charging, as im using fast charging head.

no specific difference, around the same.
