Can confirm that is has a whatsapp notification problem. It doesn't notify that you have an incoming whatsapp messages. No ringtone, no icon on the notification tab up top, np nothing. Which is a weird problem.

just rolled back to B130. Very disappointed with B330. Nothing but bugs and glitches and all sort of other messes. This will definitely be my last Huawei phone. The innards are amazing, software, not so much.

Eh, you can just flash other country's firmware to a Malaysian Honor 7 set willy nilly? Correct me if im wrong, but isn't the other country's build number different, hence incompatible?

If the phone doesn't get its Marshmallow update by September, selling off this phone and swearing off Huawei phones for the immediate future

Will give them the benefit of a doubt. Honor 7's performance is stellar for its price, and I got good use out of the phone, but God, they could at least be upfront about their software releases.

Just updated to b340 from b130. Still the whatsapp notification issue plagues the build still. What the actual fark is causing it,damn irks me lah

If any of you are on b130, better stay there. The performance is definitely better, the persisting notification problem is still there tho

It's better than b330, in that fast charging is back, no lag whatsoever, better apps performance, such as pokemon go. Back on 130, go's performance was so fking horrible. Om b340, the only bane is the whatsapp notification issue,and that issue isn't isolated to just our phone. A slew of othwr huawei phone are also affected with this problem.

Guys, i think i finally found a work around for the notification issue for b340! Been using my phone for a full 24 hours now and no missed notifications. I'll wait another 24 hours to confirm first and then i'll get back to you guys. Trust me,it's worth it!

Don't think i will dude. Still going strong now haha. Here's a hint, you'll need to download an application called Heads-Up. The app will basically just stay in the system, but you'll be using Huawei's default notification pusher! Like there was nothing there in the first place. Have you updated to b340 yet dude?

Oh dude i strongly urge you to downgrade then do an OTA for the b340 update,it's worth it. Everything handles so much better and better yet, fast charging is back! B330 didn't have fast charging, and it really was cumbersome without it.

Pokemon go tho, man handles so much better on MM than on Lpop. Minimal animation lag and all. So dude, do yourself a favor and downgrade, just the same as when you flashed b330,plus one extra step. 😁😁😁
