QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 4 2016, 06:10 PM) I move on to EMUI 4.1. Works well with our H7e This rom is far than perfect when the original creator added the digimon kernel into his rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/de...angvip-t3447739I can confirmed, no notification issues + no lag + everyone's dream mod. Look great BTW, must from B330? Can't from B340? And no instruction

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 5 2016, 09:29 AM) Not exactly sure, although the instruction given - should only flash the rom, coming from B370. But somehow, I manage to get thru by using B330 partition. according from my findings, B330 & B340 are using the same path partition table. Should be fine. As long you wipe dalvic cache / data / internal That's what I did, and live happily ever after But my unit had to be unlocked 1st in order to flash TWRP, right?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 6 2016, 09:47 AM) It's working fine. The camera looks a bit sharper then before (although I don't use camera that much) This rom also had a build-in call recorder. (because this rom is translated from Chinese version, and the developer translate it to English) From Chinese version? The author is KangVIP?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 6 2016, 01:36 PM) MM+Kang EMUI 4.1 by WBT ( v2.0 ) *.* by Warrior Bootloop Team * I think they are several people in that Warrior Bootloop Team. And Speedo.thc seems to be one of the member I heard Kang (if really is him). He can convert chinese version to global version rom (especially Huawei/Honor) and added his own extra functions. Really can try since you been tested already

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 6 2016, 02:26 PM) So far, this is the best rom ever (marshmallow) for me. with EMUI 4.1 + best kernel from digigoon + multi screen works perfect with any application + call recorder + camera + and so many more features. Give it a try. How about fast charging? Working fine? Probably take my wife H7 and test, since her warranty is until Oct/16

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 7 2016, 09:30 AM) Fast charging working well too. Slow battery drain. Thanks for the digigoon kernel. Right now, even if i'm on another rom or stock rom, i will still flash this kernel. no words to describe it. I have quite long time didn't flash phone anymore. May i check the steps with you? 1. Get the unlock code from Huawei 2. Install TWRP 3. Root the phone 4. Flash the rom from 1.0 > 1.1 > 1.1b 5. OTA to 2.0 Btw, where to enter the unlock code?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 7 2016, 03:28 PM) all your steps is correct. flash the original rom first. let it boot up + configure your gmail acc etc. when that part done, proceed to 1.1 - let it boot up. When it's done, proceed to 1.1b. to get the OTA 2.0, you need to launch OTA Updater. Then let it will prompt for your action to proceed with the 2.0 version. * unlock code? That will be generated by Huawei website. when you entered all your serial number + IMEI = then you will get the code from them. I would advise you to write it down or get a print screen of that code (just incase..) The lock code will be needed when you use Multi-Tool to root it Good luck! Hi bro, do you have the link of TWRP 3.0.2?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 8 2016, 05:46 PM) Hi. Sorry. No, I do not have it because I use SRK Tools - to install the TWRP n flash it over. It's a build-in (downloaded) from the tool to your phone. Maybe this link would help you to point to the direct source http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/de...-t3366622/page9What you means is you use SRK Tool to unlock bootloader and install TWRP? Is it the need to install adb driver or fastboot tool? Phone must in off mode or normal mode? Sorry really unfamiliar with those flashing matter **Forgot to ask you, finger print function still there? Can used as unlock device? This post has been edited by ideaplus: Sep 9 2016, 10:46 AM

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 9 2016, 03:23 PM) I assume you have not download the SRK Tools yet. Download here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/development/tool-srk-tool-huawei-bootloader-root-t3383433) SRK will work well with our Honor7e - to flash TWRP | stock recovery (refer attachment to see) Your phone need to turn on, and connected to your computer. ADB debugging is required to be enable from your phone (in developer options). Driver might be required. If your computer detected as an unknown device, please make sure you download & install the driver correctly, until Device Manager will show as ADB device or Android Phone (either one) See atachment Wah, really appreciate your kindness I just received unlock code from Huawei, and will do it on my wife's H7 BTW, finger print function is working fine?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 9 2016, 04:59 PM) No problem. Just sharing my experience. It might be useful for other people too one day. Yes, the fingerprint works. No issue with it. Only right now, I am changing my Rom to Pure EMUI ROM V2 by digigoon. base on B370 partition. I like this one, because feel so original with lesser build in huawei ridiculous app. And of coz, whatsapp notification works, screen on notification works, battery are good + fast charging + bla bla bla. Wah, changed different rom so fast? This one better? BTW, should i unlock 1st before install TWRP? Or unlock before root?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 9 2016, 06:04 PM) Yes. You need to unlock first before install TWRP. That would be the process. Wanna flash in these few days since got long holiday As for this pure rom, does it really pure until none huawei app in it?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 9 2016, 10:03 PM) yeah, about that MM + kang rom.. earlier, i do not had any problem after flashing it. but yesterday, all of sudden - i had issue with whatsapp. nightmare = i need to open whatsapp, then only all msg come in all at once. i report to the owner about the issue. seems like he also not aware of it. anyway, i dont bother much, coz i can try other roms too. right now, this pure rom will be most suitable- for me. What is the version of MM+Kang you installed? Probably newer version got that issue? This made me felt insecure when wanna flash that rom This post has been edited by ideaplus: Sep 10 2016, 10:16 AM

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 10 2016, 10:29 AM) No worries. I would recommend you to flash Pure EMUI ROM v2.1 (i flash it this morning) Link: https://www.digigoon.com/posts/pure-emui-rom/#.V9NvvRWx8fKIt is base on B371. You will not regret it. So you not recommed MM+Kang rom anymore? MM+Kang is my 1st choice as it had lots of functions can be played with. But i don't want whatsapp notification issue happen again For this pure emui rom, every stock huawei apps are gone just like stock android?

QUOTE(fiezwan @ Sep 10 2016, 11:50 AM) Yes. No more kang rom for me (until thr dev fix the whatsapp notification). I agreed, it has alot of features. This pure rom, you can choose what huawei app to be install during setup. Further more, the installation is just less than 10minute to complete. (Just dun forget to backup your whatsapp chat first, so that you can restore it later. Im sure your wife dun want to loose all conversation with you) Too bad i had downloaded kang rom, so i probably try it 1st before i move to pure rom

Well, i just flashed the MM+Kang rom ver 1.1 and everything looks ok. Unlocked, twrp-ed, rooted and custom rom. Took me around 3 hrs to study the info & guidelines.
1. Device charged faster, compared with B340. But device felt hot when using 9v2a charger. Haven't try on 5v2a charger yet. 2. Tested whatsapp and ok, but in same WIFI environment. Will test tomorrow in different situations, especially in mobile data environment. 3. System quite fluent, as i reset my h7e with stock recovery and stock B340 for my wife, but i felt my custom rom h7 smoother than her unit. 4. Lots of functions can played with. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Some themes which i had used in B340 doesn't works. White titles matched with white themes. Can't see anything of that titles. Dunno why. 6. Stock messaging app got tiny font issue which i had encountered in B330, but solved in B340. Means the font size in stock messaging app is extremely small, compared with other apps.
For whatsapp issue, i just locked it in recent app, protected app, ignore in optimisation (doze), and the normal practises

Hi all, i discovered what trigger my whatsapp notifications issue, even i flashed custom rom. Sometimes i will delete the whatsapp notifications in notification panel, without click on it. Then no more whatsapp notifications coming in anymore, unless i click on whatsapp and open the app. All the notifications will coming in on the spot
Anyway, this might happened on my situation, not all. Probably i want to flash pure rom v2.1 and see how
