Gemfive still haven't refund my RM 2799 after one month. Contact their CS on facebook and email, both also say need to check with relevant department. I'm getting pissed now, feel like making a report with KPDNKK. mad.gif

What item so expensive? And why u requested refund?
*
It was a phone. Waited two weeks, didn't come, so cancel order. And waited one more month after that already, still haven't refund me. sad.gif I think Gemfive refund is the worst compared to 11street and Lazada. bangwall.gif

Btw, off topic a bit. Wanted to get the Redmi note 3 for my parents, but waited so long already still no local warranty stock. Wonder what you guys think about huawei honor 5x as an alternative? hmm.gif

Aiyo. I also worry mine now. May I know when you requested refund, was your item status acknowledge or in progress?
*
Unfortunately can't remember whether it is acknowledged or in progress, very sorry. sweat.gif But I did place a pre-order for a game on gemfive, it is shown as acknowledged. So I guess acknowledged is that the seller acknowledged order, but not yet ship out item? Only a guess though. tongue.gif

What was the stated delivery time for your phone? Mine was written 7-14 working days. sweat.gif

Bought an item from G5 last nite and paid. Today, saw a better coupon that can be applied.  Wonder if I can cancel the earlier order that was processed and reorder with a new coupon? Anyone had this experience before? How long will it take G5 to refund the cancelled order?
*
I received my refund after one month, and after plenty of angry emails and Facebook messages sent to them. sweat.gif

Really pissed off with their CS, but I swallowed my pride and continue buying from Gemfive anyway. tongue.gif After all nowhere else can get good discount like Gemfive anymore.

Awesome! At least now no need to keep PM the Facebook CS. I am really annoyed with them and they are annoyed with my complaining, so it is mutual. tongue.gif

Already ask for refund, gemfive say they cannot do anything unless their merchant replies them. Which currently the merchant is ignoring their emails
*
That's pretty stupid from Gemfive, I believe money you paid is still in Gemfive hand. So why can't they cancel the order only and return payment to you, even if without merchant permission. bangwall.gif

it happen to me too

you need to wait until seller reply, but G5 only on hold

i wait 10 days G5 baru void my order then wait another 3 weeks for refund

mad.gif Seems like Gemfive prioritise the seller rather than the buyer, not a good business model IMO.

I don't know much about printer so not sure what brands I should look at. sweat.gif Too many brands/models out there when google online. rclxub.gif

Thanks! notworthy.gif

mono lazer printer. bonus: wifi print enable

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jun 24 2016, 11:30 AM)
printer hardware cost always cheap to own, but only the consumable print catridge/print ink that cost a bomb in long run.

if laser print, still recommend hp/canon. hp p1102 price already went up from rm2xx to rm3xx now, really rclxub.gif

for brother/dell or other brands, better survey the toner price first and also 3rd party toner availability n price. ppl always recommend hp bcoz easy to find compatible toner in market, many shops carry.

Get the cheapest Brother/Hp/Canon/Xerox laserprinter available with the cheapest compatible toner cartridge, so that when it is out-of-warranty n faulty u can recycle/throw it away without feeling a pinch.

Thanks all for the recommendations. I will check them out. notworthy.gif The HP P1102 seems to be common, see a lot of shops selling online. But most shops online still selling RM 400+. sweat.gif By the way, for laser printers, any downside to OEM toners?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. biggrin.gif Just wondering, does modern day inkjet still smear when wet? I remember the old inkjet I used to have, when water got on the paper, it'll smear. sweat.gif

Am using brothers laser printer hl1110 I think
Work like a charm and it's cheap
Less than 200 with code I think

Avoid canon inkjet please
*
Thanks, will check out that brother printer. smile.gif Any reason why you avoid canon inkjet? Poor reliability?

I've got 2 canon inkjet printer before, both stop working after 1 year+-

so far tried brother inkjet printer and laser, can said that the quality is good and long-lasting.

not sure about canon laser and other brand as never tried before.
*
Thanks for sharing, I shall avoid Canon printer in that case. thumbsup.gif

I personally using the Fuji Xerox M205b MFP. Surprisingly easy to use. If you don't need scanning function, you can look for  DocuPrint P215b. The original cartridge is only RM120~.
*
Thanks. I will check out that Fuji Xerox printer. thumbup.gif
