dang, in the end I cant hold myself back, Xiaomi Mi4 for rm463... wayyy wayyyy too cheap lol, even with all its flaws and a previous generation flagship, for that price, it's quite a no brainer, and a huge upgrade from Moto G 8GB first gen

hahah, yeah, it was driving me crazy.. I was planning to buy RN3 until I found this one. my Moto G phone was very potato, and lagging big time now, so it's time to upgarde and for that kind of price, I think it's a steal.

LTE is not really a problem as mostly I rely on UNIFI, storage also no problem as I play no game on it. What I really want was a decent camera and mi4 has the best for its price range.

I just got an email saying that it's on the way, fingers crossed it should be here tomorrow.

hoping for a local set, LOL. but even then I'm OK if its a brand new mi4.

otherwise, I'll be returning it.

at first, I thought it's import set, but upon closer inspection, it's actually a Thorus set, lol so it's local, and warranty served by Mi Malaysia.

However, the set was brought in by Thorus, which is an authorized dealer/reseller/importer for Xiaomi.

Price before is RM606.

I've checked with Xiaomi CS and its 100% legit. Malaysian set. Warranty by Xiaomi Malaysia

Lol. It should be nowhere near a sub 500 phone. This thing still has its premium presence. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I ordered on Monday night, order processed the day after, received on Wednesday, very fast.

heat is barely noticeable for me, but I guess if you game on your mobile, then it will be a problem.

bettery poor performance, cant' really say, wait till a few charge cycle then I'll let you know.

still, for a sub rm500, it's not a bad deal at all.

p.s: still waiting for MM update, or is there a way to update to MM now? Doesnt seem to have any pending update right now, so still running on KK.

Yes. Dont' be alarmed if the documents inside mention Xiaomi India.
It just mean that Thorus got the units from India instead, which is the second biggest market for Xiaomi
