using FotodioX EF-NEX right now. AF is slow as shit, but faster than Metabones MkIV EF-E adapter.

does yours do the focus throwing before it focuses step by step? I see the same between the fotodiox and Metabones Mk.IV

Like it focus from infinity to the shortest focus range and back to infinity again and it focuses slowly step by step until it gets its focus.

I think it's because you're using the A7II that's why.
A7II has phase detection.

hey bros, have u ever try it on canon EF 24-70 f2.8L mk1 ? i plan to get an adapter to pair with this lens but afraid the AF doesn't works.

metabones are too expensive, so i'm looking for cheaper adapter.

thanks in advance

We already told you lol. Auto focus is slow no matter what adapter you use. Unless you have the A7II A7RII that has the Phase Detection Auto Focus, AF WILL BE SLOW. slow to the point you cannot shoot anything fast.

To answer your question, yes it will work. Just SLOOOOOOOOOW AF. It works but it's gonna be slow, unless you have the A7II and A7RII with PDAF.

EDIT: you have the A6k which has the PDAF but I'm not sure about the AF speed on it.
