so i trying to figure out how to know what is my average balance since they given me "RMx" amount of interest.
Interest = 4.1% Interest Earned = RM10 (just an example) Average balance = RM10 /(4.1% x 12) = RM2926.83 I hope my calculation is correct, can someone help me to check? |

QUOTE(daimon @ Jun 5 2019, 04:26 PM) interested to apply this account, but im wondering how to spend at least RM500 on OCBC Card? just use OCBC top up BigPayIs it a credit card or debit card? If i use the debit card for withdrawal consider "spending"? or transfer money from OCBC debit card to BigPay also can right? p/s: im comparing with UOB Stash Account too but seems confusing https://www1.uob.com.my/stash/index.html#HowStashWorks remember to apply for OCBC Titanium Card which give 1% cashback with no capping i top up RM10k then next day withdraw 9k out left 1k inside slowly spend the 9k put back inside OCBC 360 account will earn you about RM30 per month so my earning from cashback = 100 - (6 x 3 times withdrawal fee from bigpay) = 100 - 18 = 82 nett total earning with 1 cycle = 82 (from titanium cashback) + 30 (from 360 account interest) = 110 nett (free money with little effort not more than 30 mins once a month 30 mins breakdown top up bigpay with 10k = about 2 mins drive to nearest bank where you have an account and can do bigpay withdrawal = 15 mins withdraw 3 x 3000 = 2 mins x 3 = 6 mins deposit 9k using CDM = 6 mins transfer money from whatever account you deposit your 9k to OCBC = 1 mins |

QUOTE(daimon @ Jun 5 2019, 08:21 PM) Thanks for the tips! bigpay only allow me to top up 10k, if they allow more i dont mind to top up 100k or even more hahahahaWhy you top up RM10k? when I apply for OBCBC 360, it doesn't come with debit card? If pay 3 bills, i only can think of my Digi bill, and credit card bill Insurance is consider spending? 3 times pay bills - you can just do 3 fund transfer and still qualified, just make sure 3 different bank (some say same bank account is fine as well but i dont want to risk it *btw if you are lacking of bank account number to transfer money to, do PM me i dont mind to provide you my banking account. hahahaha!!!! QUOTE(tansam @ Jun 12 2019, 09:33 PM) When I say I want to open OCBC 360, they say do you have job and then reject my apply without any personal details check and say you will not get HIGH INTEREST if you no job. After I say their requirement don’t have income requirement mention and I will complaint to bnm, the staff then try to open. After waiting for 1day, they call me and reject me because of my income source. I already sent a feedback to their hq, if still cannot, I will write to bnm. bring my wife over to OCBC Bandar Puteri Puchong to open the 360 account and they say need utility bill or bank statement to proof that she is staying in puchonglet just say my wife is a house wife everything is under my name utility bill under my name my wife save money in another bank but the address is her hometown but surprisingly my wife show a proof that they cannot reject my wife pull up a MyKid card that show our house address in puchong **her IC is her hometown which is not Puchong so basically OCBC is just making life difficult for their customer but i still want to bank with them for 4.1% Standard Chartered does have a 4.0% Saving account but i dislike SCB as their customer service sucks to the max especially ppl at the branch OCBC on the other hand damn good, always go there a lot of staff working wait time is short all staff very friendly |

QUOTE(sidefulnes @ Jun 21 2019, 09:06 AM) I don't really use ewallet actually. I do have loans to service so I use my credit card for 5% rebate. Is there a withdrawal fee for e wallet? not all e wallet can withdraw, most common is Boost charge RM2 per withdrawal and can withdraw up to 1498, bigpay charge RM6 for withdrawal can withdraw up to RM4k but again hard to find ATM that support 4k, mostly 3k atm avail. head over to the Boost / Bigpay thread to discuss this. |

QUOTE(vrek @ Jun 25 2019, 01:44 PM) Correct. I mean not everyone likes the OCBC credit cards. There are other CC out there with better benefits. But in order to fulfill the RM500 spending requirement, and if you don't like using OCBC CC, you can use load to WeChat. It deducts from your account via your debit card. Of course there is no cashback or points to be earn - this post is not meant for it. But it can optimise your interest rate as you fulfill all your 3 criterias for OCBC. my sister never able to apply for the OCBC credit card cause her salary not meeting minimum requirementso you are saying that she still open a OCBC 360 account and use the debit card and make a RM500 top up to WeChat Pay then withdraw it then also make 3 bill payment which can be bank transfer and also bank in RM500 per month then she qualified for 4.1%? anyone tested this before? |
