QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ May 31 2019, 09:30 AM) thanks - i have just a very simple and stupid question I was informed that 3 times to 1 single bank only counted as 1. Did not test.i saw a lot of comments about transferring 3 times to 3 different bank, is it possible to transfer 3 times to 1 single bank and still qualify for the bill payment interest bonus? QUOTE(syaaron @ Jun 5 2019, 10:11 AM) My this month bonus interest seems like not logic : After OPR cut, the interest rate changed. The interest credit is now lower, with the bonus interest pushed up to compensate. Total is still 4.1%. You would know this if you had read just the last page only:-Example: Apr interest credit = 2.45, 360 bonus interest = 5.85 (*3) May interest credit = 2.40, 360 bonus interest = 11.08 (*3) In logic my May interest credit (0.5%) should be higher than Apr also right , since my 360 bonus interest in also higher ? Anyone's having pattern like this also ? Waiting reply from OCBC QUOTE(kopi29 @ May 9 2019, 05:38 PM) it is still 4.1% but base interest reduce to 0.2%, while bonus interest increase to 1.3% per each bonus category. This post has been edited by LostAndFound: Jun 5 2019, 10:15 AMit is still 4.1% overall, but what will be the impact of reducing base interest? |

10k BP deposit only makes sense if you have no better CC to top it up with. PBB visa signature and quantum Master, SCB JustOne Platinum, MBB Barcelona, AEON Big CC.... all much better than Titanium.

QUOTE(infiniti123 @ Jul 3 2019, 09:44 AM) am i correct to say that OCBC wouldnt be the ideal situation if the Saving account is a inactive account, only monthly bank in money, not using it to pay bills or spend 500RM You can make an inactivate account 'active' by 'using it'. Pay bills includes any transfer out (including to savings accounts). Spending can be done to reload Boost/BigPay for example. |

QUOTE(B u B u @ Aug 30 2019, 01:39 PM) Can i open joint-name for this 360 account? If yes OTP can send to 2 phone? The above example shows, but I will just re-state clearly. You WILL NOT receive 4.1% interest on that month. You will receive approximately 4.1%/12 (since 4.1% is the annual interest rate).Lets say I have 100K this month in 360 account, and i fulfill all the condition. Meaning I will receive 100K x 4.1% interest on that month ? tq |

QUOTE(Eurobeater @ Jan 16 2020, 11:40 PM) One question. Does ATM withdrawals count as "spending" on the debit card? The TnC does not appear to exclude it. ATM withdrawals are definitely not spend, you think a bank doesn't have category for withdrawal? My thinking is that with just RM500, i can just withdraw the cash with the debit card, make it count as a "spend" and deposit the RM500 the next day so it can count as the "deposit". Just swipe it to your ewallet la, why so hard? |

QUOTE(loserguy @ Feb 7 2020, 10:37 AM) Just let it go? Plenty of other fish in the sea. SC Privilege Savers is another option. Some super discounts in the share market early this week. SSPN extra 1% interest. etc etc. Why not both? I'm already planning to move money to SC Privilege Savers, but what we're complaining about is January amount (and possibly till Feb 19). This is money you can't throw to other fish in the sea unless you got time machine. If you're saying the amount not worth the time then you got a point la. If you're saying just go for something else, that would only make sense if you say it last month not now. |

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Feb 7 2020, 11:22 AM) Immediate if u transfer outside. Just that when u pay SCB own CC from SCB account, it could screw u over coz sometimes it’s not instant. No idea why. When u pay it increase ur CL, but tomorrow u check u’re back with ur old CL, the day after baru it is reflected again. So to be save, transfer to other bank, then other bank transfer to SCB CC. Like that no problem Did not realize other bank instant transfer to SCB CC is faster than internal SCB. I just got the habit of paying 1 day earlier. Gotta try it this statement cycle, thanks! |

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Feb 18 2020, 01:57 PM) for me, there's a reason why this particular statement is added. What do you think is the difference between "commercial" and "consumer"?"Pihak BNM tidak mengendalikan pertikaian komersil di antara tuan dan pihak PPK termasuklah mengarahkan pembayaran gantirugi oleh PPK." |
