Hi, i am looking forward to use either type of cooling method to cool my cpu.

Currently using the intel stock fan...

I am thinking CM Nepton 240m but on google results, forums, most of them have faulty pump or rattling noise

for air, there's this V8 GTS, but it's kinda huge to me, but i guess it's lot safer than pump failure and all, right?

Can anyone give me some advice on this... which is more safer and less prone to failure, etc.

Other brand like Corsair also can.

Thanks! smile.gif

Guess Air-Cooling is still safer, right?

I read on many forums, that AIO Cooler can have leakage and the fluid is corrosive and can damage my hardware....

What processor are u using? Are you planning on overclock? If not, just stick with stock also good. If upgrade air cooling, get a CM 212x hyper/turbo best already. If water cooling your standard 120m like the seidon 120v will suffice. I use a seidon and i dont seem to hear the rattle or pump noise that u mentioned.

I using i5 4440. no overclock... stock speed is sufficient, Idle temp is about 40c and in aircond at night, it can goes to 30c.

Just occasional medium gaming like Grid 2 and Pokemon TCG Online, the temp can goes to 45c. I'd like it to be lower on both idle and load.

How much on load? I'm pretty sure that's cool enuf.

about 45c or so, on light-spec gaming .... if 100% load as tested using Intel Processor Diagnostic tool, it goes 59c.

Yes, air cooling is always safer.

Which Air Cooler you recommend?
I am thinking on using Jetflo on it for the bling part. Blue i think smile.gif

I am thinking on CM Hyper 412s for the twin brackets so i can install 2 Jetflo for push and pull, and exit through the rear fan , also jetflo.

yeah scare of leak also for me
*
The leak is probably from pump over-work, probably from very thick dust build up on the radiator and the pump will constantly work to move the heated liquid to be cooled, when it's not cooled enough and send back to the pump, this will stress the pump and cause it to leak.

A once a month dust maintenance will do a great job of ensuring AIO coolers life.

May I know what you do for dust maintenance? Just vacuum it?

I would just remove the fans ( push ) and then use brush to brush them.
