i juz download somethings like this AIR_-_Opening_A_(LongVer.)_(BD-BOX_1920x1080_x264).avi n i experience lag while plying this media on my PC barton 2500+ 512ram do i nid a very powerful PC to ply a high resolution media?? BTW i ply with Media Player Classic any better player to ply this smooth??

1920x1080p HD-AVC sure lag ler on your comp At least use CoreAVC to minimise CPU usage

i think its the codec problem. go to the fansub homepage and read the codec requirement. coreavc sure works.

play around with it to determine which suits ur pc spec ... sorry, i miss .264  my friend's pc (2200+ i mentioned), 1080 no problem ... however, .264 require more cpu processing power to decompress ....  not sure can handle or not This post has been edited by alvin1378: Jan 5 2007, 10:27 PM

If you use current ffdshow still slow, coreavc still does the job well, well it all depends on the bitrate used too  The higher the bitrate the laggier it'll become

Like that means nothing much you can do loh  CoreAVC is already the fastest, unless your GPU have H264 acceleration

I tested also with 1920x1080p h264, mine can play, both video and audio sync
But the CPU usage is high, between 70%-100% but still smooth, but the renderer has to drop frames to cope up in some parts
