if the fan can still work, my friend did is wire a switch to keep the fan always on.
check your relays too.

1. fully agree. the bypass should be a temporary solution. my friend did install a switch at dashboard for the manual control of the fan.
2. at today's weather and aircon full blast, i think temp too low will not be an issue.
