hi all sifus, i'm interested in buying a commercial title SOHO in Kelana Jaya, so I have a few questions
1. how much is the difference for electric and water bill compare to residential?
2. for cukai pintu what is the rate? does it depends on the size of the unit? meaning smaller size pay smaller amount?
3. any other “hidden” charge that i should be aware of?

First, is your SOHO under HDA or non HDA?

My understanding here.

HDA - water commercial rate, electricity residential rate & assessment commercial rate subject to appeal.

Non HDA - All commercial rate.

you are buying a commercial office lot (non-HDA) but yet you are trying to get residential rates?
if you are not going to use it as office, then again why purchase a commercial titled non HDA soho for stay?

i dig the tariff from TNB and Syabas, it'slightly more than double for Commercial than Residential. Assessment rate is about 10% vs 4% for KL area
