QUOTE(untitled_mc @ Apr 15 2016, 06:44 PM) Is a local set mah. Ads when you browse anything on the net. Ads show in ad based program. You can block all the ads by changing the dns resolution thingy and change all the ads server IP to 127.0.0.1 Adaway and adfree does this. QUOTE(vanpersie91 @ Apr 15 2016, 06:46 PM) In android bro. Refer above. If done it'll block all ads everywhere in the entire android os |

QUOTE(vanpersie91 @ Apr 15 2016, 07:01 PM) I think RN3 SD set allow user to give root- like permission to intalled apps. Nope playstore removed them because they're too functional. Last time i read can take a look at Security - Permission - apps. So the apps that can block those google based ads as well in apps? Adaway and adfree? Might try take a look. Playstore got? Good to know that. Try do wallpaper setting again to correct its positioning. See how it goes. It'll block all ads even from Google ads. All the ads address resolution will be diverted to localhost. Even games with ads based interface will be clean from ads. I used Adaway on my previous lenovo. I've tried giving permission to Adaway in the redmi but no avail. It's gonna require root access |

QUOTE(Radec @ Apr 25 2016, 10:16 AM) Xiaomi can still honor your warranty even if you unlocked the bootloader if you know how to revert it back to locked status. So you rooted your note 3? Hell I even opened my phone already upto dismantling a piece of the motherboard so I can revive it back to download mode. (there's 2 hardware contact points that is needed to be pressed in order to force the phone into download mode when normal ways doesn't work anymore). There's a tiny warranty sticker on one of the screws inside it and it can be easily removed and stick it back. I root so I can install better adblock for apps, browser, and youtube. Unlocked using xiaomi approval or you do unofficial way? I wanna root also but I scared haha |
