Give them the IMEI code on the box to check whether ur phone covered by Mi Malaysia

u give la typo EMEI first.. ini pun mau ajar ka
original IMEI 12345... u say la 12346
after they check say not mi malaysia warranty, then u say sorry typo
then u gip la real EMEI 

Try swap the SIM slot if you are using nano SIM or try other network SIM card, if still the same then you have to consult Mi Malaysia
