QUOTE(busted10 @ May 2 2016, 05:51 PM) QUOTE(sitescope @ May 2 2016, 06:36 PM) If your RN3 is MTK SoC and preloaded with Vendor ROM. Use this guidlines.1. Flash back to stock China Stable ROM, no unlock bootloader require. http://en.miui.com/thread-197451-1-1.html 2. Then flash to MIUI.eu http://en.miui.com/thread-236615-1-1.html Any questions, feel free to tag me and ask me. I'm on Windows 8 Pro to flash it with the SP Tools. |

QUOTE(busted10 @ May 4 2016, 01:09 AM) i'm stuck at press down + power button, always entering fastboot, i press around 3-4 minit still entering fastboot..any ideas? Here is the tricks.1. After you done the steps as the guide. 2. Then "Download Agent" and locate "DA_SWSEC.bin" 3. Then "Scatter loading" button and locate the "MT6795_Android_scatter" 4A. Tick ALL (if stock ROM) OR 4B. UN-Tick Preloaded (if MIUI.eu ROM) *** WARNING: If you forget to untick the Preloaded, you will bricked it 5. You have to press Download button right? 6. Shut off your phone and wait 5~10seconds (to ensure fully turn off) 7. And then "PRESS" & "HOLD" Down Volume Button (DO NOT Release it) 8. Plug and connect the USB to your PC 9. Once you see the bar on the SP Tools turn RED color 10. Then you only release your Volume Down Button. 11. If doesn't working, repeat Steps 3 onward. (Tips: If it boot into FAST Boot, mean you have to repeat Steps 3. Because when the Red Bar detected, the Phone are main Black Screen) PS. I try the above method more than 2hours only figure it out how does the method works. Because the tutorial didn't explain clearly if didn't work, we have to keep repeat. at first, I thought I was USB faulty or Drivers not working. QUOTE(Andrew_1980 @ May 4 2016, 10:24 AM) Fastboot flash are much easier. Although look like need very tech savvy. But I don't see the GUI friendly on the SP Tools. lol |

QUOTE(Maxram @ May 4 2016, 01:55 PM) Did not really use it till drain. Usually, 7am till 6 pm on 3G, after that wifi after reaching home, usually will last 1.5 to 2 days. Only intermittently check on phone for online Sounds like a battery beast. So how long to fully charge it as I do read that there is no QC 2.0 / QC 3.0 on it. Just the common basic QC 1.0,However, last weekend(long weekend due to 1st May), after charge at office and forgot to bring back charger, 3 days only on wifi, heavy use for online, still got 20% left update: Previously I have issue with camera photo unable to save to SD card - issue resolve. Found that it is my SD card problem. Luckily able to RMA the SD card. Using 64gb card overall, a good buy, like the fingerprint sensor the best |

QUOTE(GameSky @ May 4 2016, 02:57 PM) as in the camera sensor, it's samsung isocell sensor is rear, and front camera is omnivision What I can say, the Snapdragon Camera indeed very powerful when under reasonable light. (not in RN3)btw read from the miui forum, the snapdragon camera in the aosp rom performs better than miui camera. might due to poor optimization by xiaomi Because my Moto G (2013 edition / Gen1) that stock Moto Camera focus are plain slow/average. With CustomROM that came with the Snapdragon Camera, the Focus Speed are as fast as those come Smartphone come with PDAF, but you should know that my Moto G doesn't not have PDAF capable, as always it must have reasonable light. Low light are shit anyway for my legacy Moto G. Even Google Camera can't beat the Snapdragon Camera. This post has been edited by NightFelix: May 4 2016, 03:02 PM |
