charging with 15% battery, touch screen will go crazy.
Another bug i guess
*
depends on the current going in (i guess not all chargers are the same, aye?)
i counter this by using another charger that doesnt give me these crazy invisible touches~

If you want to change the launcher, I can suggest you nova launcher. It comes with tap to off screen.

Anyways, anyone have any idea how to make the camera picture more nicer? Did all the tweaking in camera settings but still lack a little to me. :/
*
try out few more camera apps from others..
ColorOS camera is a good one, but i never try to install in RN3pro yet
used it on my 1+ One and GNote2

or try Camera360 if u like it! hahaha

thanks!.. now i feel like to switch to Redmi too.. now i'm oneplus one user laugh.gif
*
i am using both
OnePlus One as my daily driver and Redmi Note 3 as a second phone
notworthy.gif both are as good. the Snapdragon 801 on 1+ One is still superb
and the Snapdragon 650 on RN3pro can catch up pretty good
but on MiUI the SD650 still suffers a bit of lags when doing heavy (online) games tho..

QUOTE(dennisyeoh @ Apr 29 2016, 01:54 PM)
used to like to switch roms like you but now lazy d hahaha just want to be like a iphone user (buy, use, update, use) laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

directd no stock?.. thinking to bring my mom to there tmrw
thanks, good to know something about miui.. still can flash different rom right?
*
still can, as long as bootloader is unlocked~

QUOTE(deadravel @ Apr 29 2016, 03:38 PM)
as all already know miui eats up a lot of ur ram.
of course ur can flash diff rom, a lot custom rom already around (xda, miui forum),
but for sure there are bugs, etc problems.

currently im waiting for possible stable/less buggy and big community support AOSP rom before I buy this phone. lol.  whistling.gif
*
im using AOSP with fingerprint supports. less buggy but can be a good daily driver

The battery life just amazing.

Yesterday,i unboxing my RN3 ( got 51% battery life)

Then i bought 2gb data to download the apps and games, over 25+ apps and games. Using 4G.

Streming youtube video, surfing web and facebook.

Guess what? Screen on time almost 4 hours. And im using 4G network. (full bar)

Walaaaooooooooo
*
2gb so much can get? hahaha btw, MiUI eats up RAM like an overturbo car hahaha
so i usually clear dalvik cache once in awhile when facing FC or random boot

Apps size 30-40mb only looorrr. Like facebook, whatsapp, editing photo apps etc.

Yeah i also noticed that. Free ram about 1.6-1.7GB. If i bought 2gm ram version. Free ram would be 300-400mb? Wadafucuuk.

How to clear dalvik thing? No harm too phone?
*
rooted, then reboot in recovery (TWRP) and go to wipe, select advance, and just select Dalvik Cache
after clear then reboot..
the phone will take some time to reboot cause it'll reload all the apps one by one.. clean apps!!

QUOTE(game4life @ May 1 2016, 06:04 PM)
anybody using xposed? it seems i cannot download module from the app. need to download manually
*
open the apps page in the download page,
then u can see the repository address at the bottom
click that and download manually using browser
i suggest UC Browser, nice little browser, and fast too!

Its unremoveable....if spoilt need send service centre? Or how?
*
hahaha nothing in this world, my friend, is unremoveable..

just open the back cover, there is a few screw to take out,
and one line of flat wire to take out (have to stick it back later) then the battery can take out.
hahaha
here is a videa of the teardown:

ada video dia dalam youtube, dont worry
my Oneplus One also said kenot remove battery..
but pretty much nowadays anyone can tukar the battery by themselves..

so, not a big problem there
proper battery maintenance is crucial to prolong battery life
jangan main sambil cas, dont overcharge, and always make sure x overclock if not sure what you're doing

Ok....thanks all...service center is best bet as they wil hv the battery too...
*
my suggestion is IF you are, like me, lives in Sabah..
and rather to do it yourself than waiting for 1 week for a simple battery replacement

and by the time batery spoilt, warranty is over mostly
so better DIY than waste more money to Service Center

just my 2cent nod.gif
