I need to figure out how to keep the N3's LCD off when Whatsapp receive new messages... Just need the LED light.

try this.
Settings>Lock screen & password.
disable wake lock screen for notifications.

Guys

I have a RN3 Mediatek running on Vendor's ROM 7.0.19.0.0

May I know how can I flash my ROM to the official ROM ?

At first it was okay with Vendor's ROM but then as more apps I install, the phone gets lagger and heat up quicker.

Appreciate any help icon_rolleyes.gif

u can flash to official rom or other rom but make sure the rom is for RN3 Mediatek Chipset.
if u flash other phone or other chipset rom.
ur phone will be brick.

I did a Google search on the ROM and there are so many of them !

Can you kindly recommend me what's the best ROM for malaysian like us ? As long as got English then it's okay

i can't recommend u any rom because i don't have many knowledge about it.
or maybe u can update the rom.
the latest RN3 Mediatek version: V7.2.5.0.LHNCNDA (MIUI7).

Just flash to 7.2.3.0 if you need to root your phone.
If I'm not mistaken. Mediatek version got problem with WhatsApp notification. After phone idle, WhatsApp don't prompt notification rite? Until you open WhatsApp suddenly all message come in.

There's a way go fix this but the phone need to be rooted
