you guys receive many SMS spam from online casino? how to block ? so irritating

unfortunately, don't think can do anything.

screenshot then report to skmm, if using android then download third part sms app from playstore that can block sms based on keyword, then block them using typical keyword, "casino", "win" etc

all my maxis no got this type sms. my friend also same, but their other telco number didnt get this sms.

i have recevied lots of casino sms b4.... i just block their numbers

don't waste your time. I've tried that and after a few emails providing all information requested they say there is nothing they can do. ask you to go make police report instead

I receive those sms almost daily..nothing much can do, just delete.

it because u buy ILLEGAL toto/M/Kuda number.. that why u will receive..

Not really. I think the telcos sell your numbers or maybe other things you sign up for.

nowadays many telcos giving free sms, so they just send out randomly. just 1% register, they can make money already.

It is so annoying, receive at least once every week..
I'm on Maxis btw..

Really no point in blocking the numbers... from what I received almost on a daily basis (sometimes twice in a day), it NEVER comes from a repeat number... they just use the number once... as a side note, I'm still trying to figure out what this spam is for:

enterprise customer also receive this kind of msg. maxis did not filter them.

in china, people buy base stations to broadcast these sms, bypassing telco
sometime ago i saw the basestation for sale in malaysia too.

I also keep receiving this type of SMS!



I did tried to contact the phone number in the SMS as well, but they just said they will fix it,
but then I receive again. Sometimes they even send me SMS at 4am midnight!
I tried PM the Maxis guy in Lowyat forum here but they told me that they can't do anything.
