LCCI or ACCA?
*

They are 2 different things.

LCCI is not a professional course, it is at the level of technical accounting (diploma level); ACCA is professional body, and recognised by MIA to be a qualified accountant in Malaysia.

The level/status of LCCI has been threatened by ACCA's CAT (Certified Accounting Technician), hence they try to "counter-attack" by having "smart partnership" with AIA, UK, and comes up with the Society of International Accounting Technicians (SIAT). SIAT website: http://www.siatglobal.com/aboutus.php

SIAT is not a successful partnership, hence it is not well-known among potential students.
