Borrowed a oscillating electric cutter for the job,  was using heavy duty cutter initially but too much effort. Another method is to leave gaps then fill it up with pebbles.

I mean like did it clear all the doors?

Those foam they use are for wrapping furnitures etc. Ain't exactly very thick so is negligible.

Noted. How is your reno coming along? Sticking to initial budget?
