Kitchens are using quartz stone while vanity is solid surface. For breakdown I'll suggest you get floor plan for a quote. Pricing depends on scale of job done.

Bro Xccess, wanna ask, i've contacted Jimmi for my renovation work, he also quoted me for paint... was he the one that did painting for your house? hows his workmanship? since he quoted paint inclusive, so not sure will they mix with much water to save cost and for easier painting...

Its always better to quote only for paint work, tell them you will choose and buy your own paint. If they get something for you, they will always try to get cheaper, unless he is a relative and you trust him absolutely. Else, next time if you want to touch up, you may not be able to get the same color back, if he is using some different blend. The paint cost is similar so should not be problem if you buy it.

ya thanks for pointing that out...

im considering that too... weighing my options now, thats why asking if TS engaged him for paint work... the contractor also mentioned Nippon/ICI/Dulux paint... so i guess they will have the color code for those if for touch up purposes... if the labor is also indon worker, i might also consider hiring outside contacts only...

since price quoted actually quite reasonable, so was thinking to have it done one shot or not for less hassle, provided if the workmanship is good...

From my observation, they did not mix water to the paint. For painting he is using Indon, just make sure you are there during the progress to monitor. As someone mentioned, better buy your own paint.

ok thanks... were you satisfied with their paint workmanship?
