Anyone tried hsbc balance transfer for new card member before? Apparently the CS told me that i dont have to pay by instalment but pay any amount for my BT. But the catch is at least the minimum value which is rm500. E.g. If i BT rm12k for 12 months, i only have to pay minimum payment rm500 per month. But before the end of the 12 month just pay off the balance.

is true but the minimum amount (certain percent of total transferred) won't showed in ur statement, u need to calculate yourself. Trick is u may missed any month and get service changes

I see...mmm...I might give pbb a call. Though logically it should be combined CL

Actually you should see the available credit amount. Not the credit limit. As the available amount is combined too, that is rhe max of your balance to use.

The quantum cards probably still have their own 12 months Flexi pay feature with min spend of 1200. Still good I guess.

Where does you see the fine print of these?
I think the new flexi pay 2019 showed no more 0%

there are 2 flexipay programs:

1) generic flexipay applies to ALL PBB cards. the new revision is to this program.

2) Quantum has its own special 12mth 0% flexipay, which runs concurrently with the generic flexipay, depending on the form you used.

current generic flexipay (1 Jul - 31 Dec 2018) offers 6mth 0% with min RM1.5k.

quantum flexipay offers a special 12mth 0% with min RM1.2k.
