Hmm....so if to get the 1% entitlement, have to apply from 20 June - 30 June....not sure why they designed it in such way...probably to spike up their unsecured loan take up rate every month? tongue.gif

hello, i think ur card is CIMB Islamic card? if yes, then correct. CTBBMYKL is the swift code for CIMB Islamic Bank.

For CIMB Bank, its CIBBMYKL.

CTBBMYKL - stands for its old CIMB islamic name, i.e. Commerce Tijari Bank

Oic...thx...
3rd n final bt of this campaign for me...85% CL used up hehe..wonder will affect my hire purchase loan application or not.
*
In CCRIS, you will see the outstanding (all 85%), updated every month. Even though it's a 12-month BT with 0%, other banks wouldn't know. Standard rule applies:

E.g if your total BT amount is 20K, banks will take 5% of the outstanding CC amount, in this case 5% x 20,000 = RM1,000.

That's RM1,000 commitment every month deducted from your net income. So yeah, it will affect any loan applications (bank related).

Wah...like that jialat lo...

Aeon + mbb bt nearly  4k per month 😓

Think can kiss goodbye till i finish paid off??

For better understanding, it's helpful if you print your CCRIS statement first before apply any loans. Bankers should be able to advise whether you're eligible or not. Eventually, they will also check your CCRIS.

That's really good advice and what I did when applying for housing loan. I was concerned with number of cards held and my numerous BT, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker depending on what the banks are looking for, as well as the amount of loan compared to the individuals credit worthiness. In my case, it was OK despite the crazy number of entries.
*
I guess your monthly commitments vs your net income has not exceeded bank's commitment amount. Bankers know this pretty well before they proceed with the application.

Just a friendly reminder to all here that BT, even though it's 0%, affects your monthly commitment, thus it affects your loan application (personal loan, hire purchase financing, housing loan, etc). Make sure you guys check before apply yah biggrin.gif

Yeh - when I showed my CCRIS, they panicked a bit at first because got A LOT of entries there, but they did some calculation (think monthly available income after commitments?) and said OK.

Also another tip. From my experience, there were some "dormant" entries there, for cards that had been cancelled or stuff I hadn't even applied for (one stupid RHB agent submitted a CC application with my housing loan ENQUIRY without my consent - I don't even know how she managed to submit a signed form). Better to clean up your CCRIS and remove entries that you don't recognise before applying. Makes things look worse than they are.
*
I had terminated some cards this year, going to print my CCRIS on January and chase banks to remove the entries from CCRIS. You're right, one of them is RHB.

Hello!

Applying AEON BT again, last applied was last year hehe..

Would like to check whether the email is still customer.service@aeonmalaysia.com.my ? I had sent it last night but haven't gotten the confirmation email (AUTO-REPLY)...wondering whether they're still using that email address after revamping their website...

Thanks!

--------------

Edited, saw it in website customer.service@aeonmalaysia.com.my, still the same.

My last application on Jun received email few days later telling me 0% have end and ask to submit using portal.
This time at least it show the standard reply during 0% era.

I guess you're using the same 0% BT form for submission? Planning to do the same too.
