Hi. New to balance transfer.

I've been thinking to do it for PTPTN payment. My plan is as follows

- Pay using HLB Essential
- BT to AEON

So, for AEON BT I just need to download the form online and email to them rite?

Any step I am missing or I need to do?

Thanks.

And attach latest statement. That's all smile.gif

Attachment from HLB right? Means I need to time the transaction properly so that I can BT near the statement date.

QUOTE(sms2u @ Nov 23 2016, 10:05 AM)
for AEON specific, they allow only 1 time of 0% 6 month BT every 6 months.
Meaning you can applt it around 2 times in 1 year.

Ic. Thanks for the tips.

No need to wait for statement date.

You can do the BT based on "Outstanding Amount" screenshot on your bank's online banking.

However, you should also attach the front page of your last statement, which shows the cardholder's name and card number.

Ptptn payment using HLB essential cc is not worthy,bro..u earn 0% cashback coz it's under government transaction. Suggest u to use other CC which has no this limitation.

Any other suggestion?

I BT twice yesterday from 2 different Maybank card, M2C and Ikhwan. I BT to the same HLB card. Ikwan BT approved and m2c BT rejected. Didint give me any reason. Im sure that the limit is enough. I BT 70% of Ikwan limit and 80% of M2C limit.

Any idea why the m2c BT fail? should i not BT back to the same HLB card? or is it a limit problem and i should lower it down to 70% as well?

So I reapplied my BT on MBB M2C card again today. Exactly same amount and same HLB card. Approve. So I guess they don't like I applied 2 BT at same day and/or to same HLB card at once.

Yes, one BT application per day via m2u.
My friend faced the same situation during last promo.
He called, CS asked to resubmit the second BT the next day.
I believe the STP is once a day allowable.

Good to know for me. This is my first BT so there is a learning curve for me. sweat.gif

My UOB BT seems to be approve already. I see they created a separate cc account for it. Am I right to assume that the they will generate a statement for this and i need to do the payment into this new account? after the 6 month BT term has ended they will just close this account?

Just a heads up regarding HLB / Hong Leong Bank request to transfer to CASA for overpayment.

I requested one today and I found out their new SOP is that they are only allow to transfer back funds from originating bank. It is NOT a reverse payment. So you can provide them any CASA account number to them. So if you do BT to AEON, and want to try to cash it out. No chance of that happening.

Meaning that if I have a Maybank CASA and transfer BT using Maybank Card, I can request them to transfer it back to my Maybank CASA? Correct me if I understand wrongly.
*
yes.. jst like in my case. I BT from HLB card to my Maybank card. When the fund enter to my HLB card, I can only transfer back to a Maybank CASA.
